ABOUT RASASIDDHI
Swaradhyay organized by "Rasa Siddhi", a promotion of Indian Classical music organisation dedicated towards honouring eminent musicians late Pt. Nikhil Bannerji and late Shri Prashant Thakur.
“Rasa Siddhi” is a collective of Sitar artists led by Shri Soumitra Thakur, which aims to reintroduce the historic culture of Baithak singing back to the larger public’s eye.
Music is celebrated and revered for not only being entertaining but highly meditative. That art connects people irrespective of societal divides and backgrounds is a well-known fact. Swaradhyay espouses this celebration of art in a baithak presentation, where both the artist and the audiences, participate in an intimate emotional exchange and interact on a common platform. Such a tradition, away from the current culture of stage performances in auditoriums, adds a personal touch to the participants’ experiences and is exactly what Swaradhyay endeavours to bring to life. - Приколы
Lucky to have attended this concert. My heartiest gratitude to Soumitra bhaiya for arranging this baithak.
Thanks to Soumitra bhai and his team and Satyajit Bhaiya you are an inspiration for us 😊🙏
Tanmay needs to relax with the gestures
😂😂😂😂
Who are you to say such things?
😆😆😆
@@ameyabichu5983because it's lame and self indulgent. Look at other lehra players. They don't do this because they're humble.
He's all good.
Wa Kay bat hai.... Satyajit Ji jabab nahi.... Apne bahot hi badhyiya bajaya 👏👏👏👏
Such effortless ease ..both Shri Satyajeet and Tanmay. Truly a pleasure to listen to the recital. अप्रतीम!

Habbi nice performance
Waah waah ❤️👏
I should not say this, but he is better than pandit Shree Sureshji Talwalkar. He is too good with his fingers.of course what he is today because of his father’s knowledge and teachings.🙏🏿
💯
Agreed!! Satyajeet is a fantastic player, performer & artist where are Suresh Ji is a great teacher.
Wouldn't a good father want his son to surpass him?
Not suresh ji in his earlier days
Not able to correct tune.
liitle latency is there between sound
if you skip to 11:35 into the peshkar it gets corrected.
These harmoniums are pain to the ears. Why on earth did we end up chosing this harsh sharp sounding instrument?
It’s mellow
I also feel sometimes that a sarangi or esraj lehra sounds much better than a harmonium one. Obviously these are not easy instruments to master. It is very interesting to see the decline/growth of popularity of a certain instrument. Harmonium has now gained an international fame as an Indian instrument. We should start promoting instruments like sarangi/esraj and as listeners should also start demanding these instruments on stage.
Zakir bhai is the inventor of newage body language of Tabla players...all new Tabla players are blindly following..
What do you mean by blindly following? He earned that respect through humbleness. Unlike some of you guys.
@@ilovegurusahib this is about body language… if every next Tabla player is copying his style because of respect they have for him…then ok….though it is a weird way of showing the respect.
''Be your self and everything else is already taken.'' --- By Oscar Wild.
Not exactly true here.. Satyajit ji follows his father's style
What's Zakir 'bhai'? Pay some respect to Ustad Zakir Hussain Ji.
He has very small eyebrows
The audio is also out of sync. Total disservice to the great tabalchi.
Was the harmonium guy a dancer before? He played such a basic alaap with his eyes closed while excessively embellishing one hand to try to fool the audience into thinking his harmonium music is interesting. I wish the good tablalchi got a better accompanist for nagma.
He's as good as they come.
@@ranasingh4356 No, he isn't. He's not bad either, but he's full of himself.
