I have been in an abusive relationship for sixteen years...I'm so damaged from it...I could only dream of finding another real love....I wouldn't know how to even act
Sadly that’s what happened to me, after 12 years in an abusive marriage, I was the old friend she always had feelings for that she suddenly wanted to be with. Unfortunately for me, I was just a rebound.
My dad was abusive to my mom.100 times worse than this movie. We finally got away when I was 12. I'm 57 now and my mother never remarried. She wouldn't even date anyone.
