Yes same here. Johnny Kelly has been playing with Danzig for at least 25yrs now & i don’t think many people realize that, Johnny was playing with Danzig when Type O Negative was still going strong & Johnny once said in an interview that it always worked out touring wise for him because when Type O was on down time Type O was touring + as many of you’s know that Johnny Kelly plays in a lot of bands & he once said he was very thankful that after the death of Peter Steele he was still able to make a living playing with other bands + Johnny is an awesome drummer & a very great down to earth guy with no ego 🤘
I have to correct an error in my comment when i said that Johnny Kelly once said in an interview that when Type O was on down time Danzig was touring & vice versa.
Eh, it’s different. Glenn wrote every song from the Misfits to Samhain to Danzig. The original idea for Danzig was to have a rotating door of musicians for every album. Just so happens the first lineup stayed together for four albums. Would be cool if JC appeared as a guest on tour though. He’s really wanting to perform again as you said. Also, the band now sounds amazing imo
