can i ask something? so i brough a Gigabyte H510M H Motherboard but for some reason the bios is not showing up, but the pc is working only bios doest show up even if i removed the SATA or all of my storage, i can only see a Black screen no Bios is my Motherboard is broken? or ?
Just tried to flash this with a buddy.. We're both IT guys, but got confused because the damn board refused to flash.. It says the BIOS is wrong, its on version FC out the box.. Should we update a specific version prior?? It seems a bit odd they wouldn't state it anywhere..

Hello I have the same processor and the same motherboard. I tried to install an RX 5500 XT 8GB instead of my GTX 1060 3GB but the graphics doesn't allow the computer to be turned off correctly, I think it's an incompatibility error. Will this bios update correct it?
Try updating BIOS to recent one & let me know it fixes issue. As the GPU you are using is recent one. keep me posted. Thanks for watching Please SUBSCRIBE
@@SidTheGeek I updated the bios to version f14 and the problem continues. I don't know what else to try. I replaced the battery, did a clear CMOS, tried another GPU on the pci and it worked perfectly. But the GTX 1060 is pci 3.0 and the RX 5500 XT is 4.0, will it have something to do with it?
Dude, after the reboot, the grafics card rgb led was turned on an the pc in black screen, then it rebooted again and now the rgb led is turned off an the pc still is in black screen, how much time i have to wait till the pc starts normally? Its been like 15 minutes and i did everything like in the video
Bro you saved me, the guy said It was normal for the PC to Black screen after update and I took It too seriously, was waiting for more than an hour and nothing, then I saw your comment and gave me courage to reboot It and It worked 🫡
Updated my BIOS recently but that was before windows 10 updates took over the BIOS, I cant get into mine anymore. - Even after resetting the CMOS I still cant get to the BIOS anymore ( no Gigabyte logo ) Cant get past Fast boot - just loads the windows logo and stops - will not except a boot drive. How to get past fast boot ? - Delete not working
@@SidTheGeek The BIOS update was a success, and Windows works fine, but fast boot seems to be the issue as far as I can work out. - Just cant get windows USB boot disk to detect even on legacy settings.
check in device manager for wake on LAN setting. if its there! then it means it is supported. make sure to *_Subscribe_* us with *notification bell icon* as a _token of appreciation_

There are many files in bios folder. Do we select the folder or a specific file in that folder to start bios updating process.
As you can see in the Video. it only shows update file that is needed

Were you updating using the BIOS or any other method?

is your PC custom built? did the update completed successfully? After BIOS update Windows 10 thinks you bought new motherboard so it may act weird.

Wake on lan is it possible on this motherboard?

You are using incorrect model! there are two version of this motherboard so be careful. refer to your user manual
how did you put that ram frequency in that BIOS version, it doesn't let me just let me put 2666
