I have the pack out system and it is completely full of yellow and black tools. Don't worry about it use it and fill it with DeWalt tools it's better than the DeWalt system and there's nothing wrong with using this box.
Agreed. I bought the Dewalt 2.0 tough system and wish I would have purchased the pack out instead. Again it was the feeling your talking about that suckered me into buying the Dewalt system. It's good, but I know the pack out is better...
Spend your money one time and the cost works it self out. I started with the Ridgid box’s for about 5 yours and was not satisfied was going to try the dewalt. That is when Milwaukee came out with the pack out and I have not looked back. Best choice I made
I used to be a dewalt guy because the school board bought it for us but I fell in love with the Milwaukee everything so I am a big time Milwaukee fan and user
Milwaukee inadvertently made an ideal box for a painter that works in a few different shops. I got it because I have Milwaukee polishers and have had good miles out of them.
Im happy with the Ridged set , got about 20 of them all sizes just saved a little money , they hold together just fine and the tops have an insert that i rip out for another 2.5 inches of space on some of them .
I'm a dewalt guy but just went with a large milwaukee packout setup yesterday. They nailed it, way more options, better attachment methods, wish it was yellow and black though...
I am just a DIY guy. I was also just in the Dewalt platform. I was waiting for the 2.0 to rollout, which took forever. A deal came out including a free large PO. I have been hooked ever since. These are the best. Wait till you start using the mounting brackets and small parts containers. I am in both platforms, now. It maybe wasn’t your master plan but I am sure you will get more followers with Packout videos.
Yeah I think I’m in trouble! Just bought some other containers and bags and boxes. I really wish the dewalt platform 2.0 was better. Oh well, looks like I’m hooked. 🤕. Thanks for watching
I just bought a number of the Packout system to carry tools and parts for my sport fencing business...SOOOO much easier to haul my gear around and set up my sales table at events. Definitely worth the money.
I bought a cheap gun case for my skim blades, I keep the rest in a tstak, and my level 5 boxes, poles and mud pump go in a large case I got with the set.
Packout is the best. I made some 3D printed Packout feet and made an adapter to attach my Versastack boxes to my Packout. TSTAK attaches the same was as Versastack.
This is the best system for the tradesman who has to transport their tools to and from the job site regularly. I see so many guys using these in trailers and shop and that just doesn't make sense to me at the price. Having said that, I'll probably have one next week.
Milwaukee Packout helps me enjoy my job. I bought into the M12 v system to compliment my Milwaukee collection. I run Makita 18v tools and Dewalt 60 Flex Volt too.
I bought a ute with aluminium boxes and using Packout has been great, I saved on not getting shelving fabricated in the toolboxes and still free to use the tool boxes any way I want Awesome system Expensive but good investment
I have the pack out you have, plus another slim case with foam for my dewalt 12v green laser with plumb and line, along with my 3 large bin containers, double half size deep bin containers, and my 15" open tool bag which clicks on top. This system is heavier for certain, but I have no worries of clicking my tool bag on to my laser and screw bin container, tossing it on my shoulder and walking into a job site. My tool bag holds it all with the cleats they give ya.
Hi there, I agree 110% , I am a huge DeWALT guy but, I am in the market to buy and after looking, testing and trying the 2.0 system I did not buy it, to flimsy in my opinion . Then I see the red pack out and was in right away, it feels and looks way better! Now I got really mixed feelings, thanks for your video
No prob. I felt the same way. But after a solid 2 years of using them every day , they are still holding up great. No breaks and just very easy to use.
The Problem is the regular Milwaukee HD Boxes they sell there Powertools in at least in Europe don't work with there Packout. Also they don't have inlays for the tools for Packout besides that foam you need to cut yourself. While the HD boxes have inlays. TStak, Sortimo, Tanos have inlays.
Millwaukee tools and storage systems are just better. I grew up on Dewalt but Millwaukee is now my favourite plus red is my favourite colour that's just a bonus though
I have gone over to Milwaukee tools as I am a joinery but my old tool bags were coming apart so I bought the Milwaukee packouts and I love them yes they are expensive but you get what you pay for but you chaps in America 🇺🇸 do get some dam good prices and you get them in red were us chaps in the uk 🇬🇧 get black 😔 but I will keep building my collections am very happy with the kit
Had my eyes on this exact set for a while now but I’m worried about the issues I’ve heard quite a lot about the wheels breaking off. Have you had that issue ?
I prefer the toughsystem 2.0 for the value. You can get the base, xlarge box and small box for under 200 and I'm a big fan of the shallow tool trays you can add to have layers in the boxes. Without the trays your just throwing stuff on top of each other and losing organization. Also prefer being able to slide the handle off nice and easy on the 2.0 I use it to stack my guns and ammo for the range. I use bags to carry my tools, this way I carry only what I need. The packout has too many crevices inside which makes it impossible to line things up which makes for a lot of wasted space for me. If the packout did the things I mentioned, I would spend the extra money.
I am 100% a Ridgid guy but the truth be told Milwaukee have being living up to their integrity of being one of the best brands out there and in many cases they already have superceded that expectation. I told myself I would never purchase a Milwaukee period. Now half of my tools are Milwaukee including the PACKOUT.

thank you!, it's always a hard decision what storage bins to go with, I am definitely going towards the packout over the 2.0. Milwaukee is so far ahead on this one. thanks for watching
I have this full pack out system including fixing trays on the top. But I keep all my dewalt kit in it, I don’t like the Milwaukee power tools but I love this system to much to buy the new tough system from dewalt
I HAD THE DEWALT 2.0 AND WHEN I SAW THE MILWAUKEE IN PERSON AT THE HOME DEPOT IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, I RETURNED THE 2.0 AND JUMPED ON THE MILWAUKEE JUST THE QUALITY ALONE WAY BETTER THAN DEWALT.
I would need two because as big as they are it's not enough to house all power tools, chargers, batteries, hand tools etc. Great system though. The question is, is it worth it? They are plastic boxes at the end of the day.
I guess the only bonus for you is that live in beautiful Australia? 😊 I had such a great year of traveling in your wonderful country, can’t wait to go back one day!! Thanks for watching!
Packout is $$$ but damn good. The bars, the construction, etc... So well done. I stick with DeWalt tools though, most of the time they are less $$ and equal or better quality/performance.
I know everyone loves storage with lids, I however do not. I use husky connect storage bins because they are open top. There no lid to open and close. Idk a lid is just an obstacle for me. Anyway I agree that the milwaukee packout is better than DeWalt 2.0 and it's ok to put DeWalt tools in a milwaukee packout.
they are a game changer, I would recommend getting two full carts, one is not enough if your in the trades. two makes it easier to pack up everything nicely
Americans complain about $220 for a set.... in my country, we pay that for each case. Those 3 pieces cost $635 here, due to the import tax and postage.
@@lsteiner I'm using a tool bag for hand tools. A case for milwaukee drill and drive. I have a box system similar to this, but will not take them out of truck at the same time. Btw, I'm a plumber as well :)
I still prefer the Tsak because of their smaller footprint. Packouts are more of a tool chest than a tool box to me. It's great if you are always using the same set of tools but with the tstak you can really mix and match your tool based on what you're doing. You can put each tools in its own case. So I would say packout/though system makes a lot of sense if you are doing service calls but if you are working at the same place for several days, tstak is a better system. What I don't like about the original Tstak is that they were not ip54 rated against dust and water but now the versastack are and the tstak 2.0 in Europe as well. Hopefully Dewalt won't drop the tstak line in NA and keeps updating it. I also really wish they would come with a bigger case for things like framing nailers (something like the maxi systainers) and some kind of SysPort.
I totally agree! Im using my packout alot because i haven't needed to pull my trailer around to jobs so its nice to have the larger option to hold a bunch of tools. that said i like having the smaller t stak cases to hold my more specialized items, it keeps me super organized.
Packout may be expensive but they way more durable and lock together a whole lot nicer and Easier then other brands but to top it all of Milwaukee offers so many different thing fro the packout from Light’s, radio’s, backpacks, soft and hard tool storage bags/box’s clear top organizers the list goes on but Milwaukee is still coming out with more all the time most other brands only have the box’s none of the accessories they even came out with a table top for the packout to turn it in to a small mobile workbench yes Milwaukee is pricey but you pay for what you get except for the new hand truck they came out with it need a remodel cause they made it majority out of plastic not metal
I totally agree, It's really impressive to see a tool company listening to the trades and what they need to make life easier at work. so many options with the packout system. they definitely need to remodel that dolly. thanks for watching, lots more packout videos coming
They're not really comparable because of the price range it's a huge price 💲💲💲 difference between the two. I just watched a video where the wheels have a problem of falling off the Milwaukee packouts.😳😳
Guys the Milwaukee is BY FAR the best system out there, I find it a bit too pricey. $219 for these 3 boxes is now a steal. Those same boxes are now a bit over $300 US. I purchased the 2.0 tough system and returned them the next day. It is built solid but I actually hated it, mainly bc it overpriced and I found my fingers getting slapped with those stupid latches. if you can afford the TS 2.0 skip it and get the Milwaukee. I landed on the absolute best brand for the money, RIDGID! I just paid $119 for that same version of Milwaukee but Ridgid, dolly box, large box, small box. The Milwaukee and DeWalt dolly boxes are more expensive then the entire Ridgid 3 box system. I consider these three brands I’ve mentioned to be professional grade, all the other ones on the market are more DIYers types. Husky would be a good option for LIGHT duty use. So I wish I owned Milwaukee but I’m happy with Ridgid. Hope this helps anyone on the fence bc I was starting to overthink the whole thing. BTW, tool wise, I’m yellow and black through and through! By far the best tool for the value. Hmm, seems logical for me to land on Ridgid here now that I think about it. Good luck mates! 🤙🏽
It is definitely the best, I’m still going to use my dewalt Tstaks but I think the pack out will be my daily use boxes. Hard decisions ahead 😄. Thx for watching
I've paid £270 for my packout set. Week later it was for £200 on a 5 day deal. Would be nice to get it cheaper, but after owning it for almost a year I can say that even if it would cost me £300 I would be still happy with my purchase at the end of a day. This thing is build like a tank while second best - Toughsystem 2.0 looks and feels like hot wheels in my opinion as I used both and I really tried to abuse packout after seeing some negative reviews. Getting myself another one for my cordless TS55 as Festool systainer does not even have a simple gasket and it feels flimsy and cheap. Festool systainer is like Toyota Prius, Dewalt like Mercedes C class and Packout like Mustang Shelby or 67 Chevy Impala
I’m a DeWalt guy as well but Milwaukee Packout is better that DeWalt ToughSystem. I work in plumbing industry and have to be as efficient as possible. DeWalt ToughSystem is a hindrance to that efficiency and that’s why I have Milwaukee Packout!
exactly! I have left mine out in some serious rain this year and not a drop got inside, and the clip system is far better than any other boxes in my opinion. thanks for watching
@@hammerandhome the wheels on the packout cart are what steered this dw faithful away from it. I got the dewalt 2 wheeled dolly and went with ts 2.0. Started with the drawers. I've not been happy with them. Now packout has drawers and 2 wheeled dolly. I think im switching my storage to packout.
By the way when Milwaukee don't do it right the go back to the drawing board unlike Dewalt. Mikita is asleep at the wheels. Bosch is nowhere to be found, Ridgid is stumbling over their small selection, Ryobi is the non-carpenter's heaven and Kobalt is a slow moving train beating out low level Dewalts, Ridgid and Ryobi at their own game. Everyone else is not on the radar and I am unfortunately a Ridgid guy.

Anyway I agree that the milwaukee packout is better than DeWalt 2.0 and it's ok to put DeWalt tools in a milwaukee packout.
Depressing when you say how cheap you got them.
Here in oz we don’t get deals on packouts and end up paying an arm and a leg 😕
We do get some good deals sometimes ... but would it make you feel any better if I told you it’s -30 right now here for a week? 😬❄️🥶
$220 USD is like $300 AUD. That setup in Australia costs $661 AUD.
Ouch! Now in Canada they are $350
I’m looking into these.
they are a game changer, I would recommend getting two full carts, one is not enough if your in the trades. two makes it easier to pack up everything nicely
Americans complain about $220 for a set.... in my country, we pay that for each case. Those 3 pieces cost $635 here, due to the import tax and postage.
where do you live! NZ?
Seems too heavy. I guess if the boxes are full of tools, you have to disassemble and move them to the truck one by one.
Good point. I'm thinking about some type of lightweight ramp. Any ideas?
I appreciate the toned down atmosphere of this review compared to the "tool-junkie bro" videos out there
Thanks Aaron, happy you enjoyed it!
Hope Hercules makes a packout or im going red
Cant believe you gave up your dewalt loyalty,,,but packout is by far the best!
Hot Wheels ! Hah, you've dated yourself there lad!
Looks like you can afford as the background of your shop
I’m a DeWalt guy as well but Milwaukee Packout is better that DeWalt ToughSystem. I work in plumbing industry and have to be as efficient as possible. DeWalt ToughSystem is a hindrance to that efficiency and that’s why I have Milwaukee Packout!
exactly! I have left mine out in some serious rain this year and not a drop got inside, and the clip system is far better than any other boxes in my opinion. thanks for watching
Welcome. Don’t worry, the red water is warm. Stay awhile
This was 10 months ago. Have you bought any Milwaukee tools for the pack out yet? Lol
Your having a hard time because of the godly nature of MILWAUKEE. Your used to your peasant dewalt tools
😂thanks for watching
Agree 😆👍
Miluakee is King!!!
They definitely have some nice stuff 😁
I love the packout but the wheel bearings are trash ive been through 3 sets. They definitely need an upgrade
thanks for the Info
@@hammerandhome the wheels on the packout cart are what steered this dw faithful away from it. I got the dewalt 2 wheeled dolly and went with ts 2.0. Started with the drawers. I've not been happy with them. Now packout has drawers and 2 wheeled dolly. I think im switching my storage to packout.
Milwaukee will always rule , don’t waste your money on other junk
If they ever make the 2.0 yellow instead of black. Dewalt will over sell. But until then. Make the jump. Become a pro. Go milwaukee.😁😁😁
Still blows my mind when Americans whip out the tape and measure inches
Well what happens when it’s Canadians who do it? 😂
I know I have red boxes full of yellow tools😂
Shhhh don’t tell anyone 😂
By the way when Milwaukee don't do it right the go back to the drawing board unlike Dewalt.
Mikita is asleep at the wheels. Bosch is nowhere to be found, Ridgid is stumbling over their small selection, Ryobi is the non-carpenter's heaven and Kobalt is a slow moving train beating out low level Dewalts, Ridgid and Ryobi at their own game.
Everyone else is not on the radar and I am unfortunately a Ridgid guy.
so many Brands to choose from, it's tough sometimes.thanks for watching
I use my money for tools no
Matters the brand I Check the reviews because I need the best way to do my job “ I am using dewalt , Milwaukee, Klein’s tools fluke “ “
No shame in a good product brother.
Milwaukee is a real man's brand lol
😂 thanks for watching!
Someone other than Milwaukee makes tools? LOL Really most tool systems now are pretty good just a color preference that said , no better mobile storage system PERIOD
SPEND YOUR MONEY ONCE WITHOUT REGRET, BUY THE PACKOUT SYSTEM.
Now your wife has a place to store her Avon make-up, the boxes are nice but they are so gay, in Europe they have a black version of this so much better
Dewalt tools... pack out storage. Period
I use the Dewalt 2.0 system...everytime I need to vomit on the jobsite....
I'm offended by your use of gender pronouns.
220 in usa its 368 in canada ffs lmao what a joke
I've seen it for 200 in canada at HD
