As others have pointed out, something I forgot to mention is when the carts are loaded they will go further (I don't know exactly the numbers, but when its flat its about double the distance when it's not on power rails I think). If I remember correctly, its also the same for uphill, so when its loaded it goes further uphill. The details might have changed over time but they are definitely different, so I would recommend if you are making a rail system, sending a loaded and an uploaded mine cart through to make sure they both work (unless you never intend to use an unloaded one)
The player being in it counts as a loaded cart as far as I know. I've made rail systems where I would ride it to the end, but then the empty minecart wouldn't make it back
if i put a dispenser facing down with an activator rail on top and activate the rail, then put a hopper minecart with an egg inside the hopper minecart, will it move the egg to the dispenser and if so will it activate it at the same time, or the next time it goes over the rail. also if i have like 30 of them in a row, and redstone blocks on top, will my hopper minecart stop?
You would probably have to test it, but if I am going to guess, the egg will never leave the hopper because the activator rail will disable the hopper. I'm not actually sure though
@@ZennsWorld i meant the detector rail, also it works i just need to put a hopper under the rails and some powered rails (no need to activate them they will be activate with detector rails) so the minecart doesent slow down fully

Good job with this! I've built farms with minecarts for years, and I learned several things about them from your tutorial.
Thanks, glad I could help!
Thank you for this information !! This really helped me.
Glad I could help!
dint know if anyone has mentioned but you go further when it's loaded cause of the weight in the cart helps to push it wheb going downhill
Short and sweet. Thanks from an old noob :)
Really informative!
Wow great video uhhhm someone get a uhhmm counter
If I’m riding in the Minecart is it operating as a “loaded cart” or does player weight not factor into it
