My absolute dream car. Was the first car I got to try and drive when I was 15. Been wanting one ever since.

With the VIN from the HOC website, we win: 1 for Chevrolet, 34 for Chevelle with V8, 37 for two door sport coupe, 1 for 1971 model year, B for Baltimore, MD assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Baltimore, MD plant operated from 1935 to 2005 and last produced the Astro and Safari minivans.
    No tag, can't brag.

I would rather have a manual transmission, but I love the bench seat and manual windows. The rear bumper on these cars was always my favorite part. I don't care about numbers matching cars. That just means that I can't afford it 😊

The '71 Chevelles have the best looking rear end. The '70 Chevelles have the best looking front end.

Agree. I had a '71 and loved the round taillights but wished it had the '70 front end.

@@PocketChangeInspector I'd put the round light bumper on the car and keep the correct bumper. That way, I can re-install the correct bumper if I decide to sell the car later own.

In the early 1990’s I had Centerlines. They looked good on my 69 Coronet R/T.

beautiful car, I sold one 11 years ago very clean car $1,500 I have too many projects wish now I would not have sold it. Weld wheels look fantastic for once a nice Wheel on a car not those junk SS cragars. Butt weld wheel makes two versions of that wheel they make a street wheel and a draglite for the strips . Back in the sixties and seventies we always know in Texas when we had a Yankee in town he had those junk SS cragars on his car.
