The honorific is customary, but not required, for ex-presidents. Trump certainly doesn't deserve it. I think on this network they try to be conscientious about not using it, but it is habitual when we're used to using it for former Presidents who *do* deserve it, i.e., anyone but Trump.

My husband and I are 69 and we are planning to move to Italy. We are doing so because we don't feel safe in the US. We are also sick of paying outrageous costs of Healthcare and medications. The "taking things into one's own hands" works both ways. The protestors may be appear few, but they have support around them taking your pic and plate, or worse. The police are paid to handle this. Why are citizens paying for police protection and being told to fend for themselves?

I agree with Joe 100% about the protests where the protesters are unlawfully obstructing roadways and traffic. The beauty of being an American is the right to assemble and protest peacefully to express your beliefs and opinions on whatever issue you choose. However, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do this. Every state has its own laws governing how you are allowed to assemble and demonstrate in the community. Most places require a permit and you must have your own police detail etc. But selfishly blocking roads and interfering in the public’s daily lives and necessary movements is unacceptable and downright illegal. But Tom Cotton suggesting people take matters into their own hands, while calling the protesters criminals, and simultaneously suggesting people commit crimes to retaliate against the protesters is the height of hypocrisy typical of the GOP. HIS IGNORANCE IS SHOWING
