Kickdown | Southern Rail Rep | Alexander Dennis E400 Voith Trident (E12, SN06BNX)

This bus was service a Southern rail replacement service between Crystal Palace and Balham and West Croydon, calling at West Norwood, Tulse Hill & Streatham Hill however the video starts in Selhurst as we ran dead to start service from Crystal Palace. At first it didnt seem as if E12 was equipped with kickdown but after a while we realised it was but it just had a mind of its own. Moretime it would kick from gear 4 and, but 3 on gradients.

Unless they’re exhaust trapped for Euro 6 but they’re still Euro 4 engines so I’d still consider them Euro 4

@@B5LHGemini2 Engine was new as Euro 4, yes. However the overall vehicle may have been modified to meet Euro 6 standards through the exhaust system. Maybe that’s what we meant? Since Euro 6 exhaust mods can affect how a bus sounds and performs. For example they can be quieter and less powerful
