Oh jeez, you always get the best of these Go-Ahead Enviros! Your videos honestly rock! xD I think E62's like this. I'm glad it's at NX now since I can take one of these crazy Es down Park Lane on the 36! 132 is too far for me... I'm surprise you didn't film the Kidbroke part, at the same time, I'm surprised you reached 40mph! Is there some secret I'm missing to getting good allocations, other than the fact that I think you get late drivers at night somehow? :P
Thanks for your kind words! The bus was full on leaving North Greenwhich so I settled for a seat upstairs for a while. It performed well in Kidbrooke, definitely reached 50mph eventually after climbing the A102. Got another vid on the way with E132, same driver but the bus isn't quite as quick! Yes, I tend to film late evening when the drivers are in "going home" mode! But seriously, the focus of this channel is buses that are being floored so none of the rides I have that are slow are uploaded, or recorded for that matter. Not hard to tell a fast driver - normally the way they pull into the bus stop is a good indicator of how they'll be driving - this one floored it out of the stand at North Greenwich so was a safe bet he was going to be a quick driver!
Yeah, it's the pullaway (I think it's called) that is a good indicator. But sometimes they do it just once and then go back to driving like "plums", as I say. Lol, "going home mode". XD That's the best description!! Either that or late drivers are what you want, yeah. Ah, okay so either full-speed or kickdown rides uploaded? I see. It's funny because I always wondered why all of your videos featured floored buses. lol
I remember we had a few of those given to us at bluestar (go south coast) during the lockdown, to help with capacities. So much nicer to drive than the modern, depressing buses. Shame they didn't keep them when things went back to normal. The 63 plate ones we had took weeks to pull away so was awful on junctions and roundabouts, literally went through 3 gears before 15mph. The newer ones may be slightly more brisk than those but feel so cheap and retarders can give you neck ache after a couple hours.
But some ex First such as EN25 are limited to 63mph I think, which is very good for a double decker bus! And it doesn’t struggle for power or speed on motorways at all!
The thing that I love mostly about this bus is the whining sound:)
Where does that sound come from? The engine?
@@mahammad The 5-Speed ZF Ecomat gearboxe.
ur channel is the best for filming London buses being thrashed out
Thank you! That's what the channel is dedicated to :)
The acceleration is spot on!!
Yes, very nippy indeed!
This one's got a nice ZF to it as well.
All of the euro 4s at thus garage do
This is my most favourite bus out of the whole fleet especially in the Bexleyheath bus garage:) Great video mate:)
This one’s with Bluestar now as our 1254 :)
Great video.☺️ This is my most favourite ADL Enviro 400 Trident in the fleet of buses (LX56 ETR E47).☺️
Thanks, it's definitely a good one!
@@KickdownLondon Ur welcome. ☺

LondonBabyRosalinaFan82*•. bexleyheath e400s are some of the best in london u get full kickdown and very fast like 50 to 60

Now transferred to NP with a few other E's for the 191
And now back at Bexleyheath as I had it for haulage on the 486 a few weeks ago with awesome kickdowns
Now at C. I had it on the 127 (which I filmed it on) and it has a rather loud ZF, you hear it whining when you pull off.
Glad it's still around, I think a few have been withdrawn. Nice gearboxes and powerful engines!
And now withdrawn
Shit this bus has hella testosterone🤣💦💯
What's that whining noise that comes on at 0:11 (also at 1:26) in 3rd gear?
That will be the axles.
@@NorthofScotlandBuses You sure? It also comes on at 2:02 and goes away
Harith Ahmed 99% certain haha. You hear it in 5th gear at 2:27 too.

I think these are restricted to 57mph but unrestricted kickdown and 57mph is near 60mph
Yeah probably around 56mph or 90kmh. A lot of Go-Ahead's buses are limited to 50mph.

E151 has been restricted to 45mph and his max speed was 64mph
