As university students they should have replied so simple questions in English. Sri Lankan kids can speak day to day English well enough. But today’s kindergarten pupils can speak English though, so Indonesia is improving now

UGM is one of best and most prestigious university together with UI and ITB, it is the first university to be founded by the government after independence and ranked 1st in the country based on QS WUR 2022. Moreover it is a university with the most foreign students studying in Indonesia.

A tour of the engineering faculty is also a good idea as the main building had just been renovated recently. It really is a shame to see that the students you've met with weren't that good in English. I'd suggest you to visit ITB Bandung next as it is one of the best and oldest technological institute in Indonesia, built back since the dutch-indies era.
also, there weren't many students when you visited because they've just had their last exam for this year. the next academic year will be started in February 2023. Though some faculty may still have exams until mid december

You can go to ITB (Bandung Institute of Technology) if u don't mind. U may see twin old buildings there, which it's an old authentic building at ITB since Netherlands occupation. Additionally, i think u should search for ITB's history for firstly so u understand the timelines.
Those plants growing on the trees are types of fern, probably Staghorn or something similar. They're not part of the trees but need a growing medium such as a host tree or piece of wood. There are a lot of very attractive and pleasant women wherever you go. I hope you're able to spend more time with some than we see on video.

Hi Carlos I recommend you to visit and explore Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Indonesia University of Education) in Bandung.lt is one of the most beautiful universities in Indonesia.lt is also one of tourist destinations in Bandung.lt has a beautiful historical building, an education museum,a beautiful big mosque, beautiful garden and many others.There are some foreign languages departments here and also a language center where foreigners from different countries usually take lndonesian language course.lts location is also not too far from other various tourist destinations.

The main library does look really nice and comfy. Near the undergrad thesis' deadline or exam period, it would be quite packed with students trying to catch up with their deadlines and studying. I kinda regretted the fact I barely visited the main library back then. I preferred visiting and staying in our faculty's library instead because they already had all the materials I needed to study and write my undergrad thesis. Perhaps I should visit it next time I go back. 🤔
Actually that food court is in my faculty(Social Science and Political Science) and a lot of students exchange cause i saw a lot of foreigner in my faculty, if we meet foreigner we already feel normal... Cause we have international class, iup (international undergraduate program)..

near ITB, you may also visit indonesia's geology museum, there are hundreds of interesting pieces from fossils to gemstones

there are areas of the library where it isn't prohibited to be loud. The rooms in the upper levels are where talking loudly is not allowed

then you have to visit a university in Bandung because it's good there, not much different from other well-known universities in Indonesia🤗

The main library does look really nice and comfy. Near the undergrad thesis' deadline or exam period, it would be quite packed with students trying to catch up with their deadlines and studying.
I kinda regretted the fact I barely visited the main library back then. I preferred visiting and staying in our faculty's library instead because they already had all the materials I needed to study and write my undergrad thesis.
Perhaps I should visit it next time I go back. 🤔

Actually that food court is in my faculty(Social Science and Political Science) and a lot of students exchange cause i saw a lot of foreigner in my faculty, if we meet foreigner we already feel normal... Cause we have international class, iup (international undergraduate program)..
