I never would have thought that lune was in their drop A tuning.

Mmm i actually want an ibanez over the Mark Holcomb's PRS. Don't get me wrong, i love the way the PRS feels and looks. But the tunning stability it's awful. You will have to spend some additional money to make it stable. Also, the pickups are too harsh to my ears. Idk if the one i had was setup incorrectly, but the harshness was everywere, specifically on the high strings. It's something that i get, because in a band with 3 guitar players you have to cut throughout the mix. I wish this pickups had more mids and a little less highs. It will make them the best metal pickup ever.

How did you get this tone using the Axe?
Did you swap out your low string to drop it to A or are you just using the stock 52 gauge?
@Omega I know , I was asking about string gauge not tuning. I said drop it _TO_ A, not Drop A :P
But thanks for the info anyway, Periphery is one of the very few bands who does it, but dropping the low string to an A in drop C seems like such a weird transition, like as in the tension on the guitar itself, and I have personally never tried it. And i've always been interested to hear how other people's experiences have been with setting up for this tuning. It sounds so good though.

They look like it but they're actually Mark Holcomb's signature Alpha & Omega pickups, they are great ;)

Also good old root only power chords would have been good for the chant part to fill out the sound.
