I'm very close to getting it to work now! Still loading pins for hand to make this video, but there is a reason I didn't show the back. (because there is things I want you to see later!)

Great game, I will be doing the same but there is stuff surrounded everywhere where I just can't put my camera and I always get put off from making videos on RUclips due to other stuff in my head, but I will definitely be making more videos, I'm sure. I am not dead!
QUESTION ALERT!!!
Q1: Is the pinsetter running automatic? Just realised there are just some cuts in the video which I have spotted.
Q2: Still using your phone as a camera, or did you find a nice good little camera that does the job?
That's all I can think of, lol. But tell me more answers if you would like.
By the way, bought a Mac mini - now I can finally do some editing using iMovie! ;)
My wrist is hurting on typing using my iPad now, anyways... the critic goes until the next video he releases!!
Oh I forgot, RUclips has removed music on a few of my videos! ;( due to copyright. Don't worry, making more soon and I will have to make some music cuts or get license to do the whole track.
A1: The cuts you have spotted were actually intended as it still isn't fully automatic. If more people think it's working now, then I will have to take the video down and make the cuts more visible. Sadly.
A2: I still use my phone as my camera. I think it's more than good enough. :)

Arkeazus That's awesome! That's what I thought when I created my first pinsetter. I wanted to construct something so that I could practice some bowling just for fun. And the obvious choice was to use Lego! :D
But hey, why not? Legos is the best way to create any robot in my opinion :P
Arkeazus Exactly! Some people think I'm being childish just because I use Lego. I say, "I don't play with Lego, I use it as a tool to accomplish my visions and creations"

Yes, I have! But I have to buy a small webcam which I can put right next to the lane, and I cannot install the program on my main computer as it needs windows to run. I have a windows partition on my Macbook Air from my school, so I could probably use that when I have bought the camera. :/
Oh I see! Well you never know, maybe when you're finished building the lane completely, open score will have version that you need. ;)

+PinDominator I do, but it doesn't work as good as I hoped for. I may have to redo it. Also, I'm thinking about a combination between the Brunswick gs distributor and the distributor of "master your Lego"s pinsetter. I will do my best, but I won't show it until it works. :/
I was thinks something like that but for me, it's gonna require the least amount of parts because of how small of space I have.

Dude! A little off topic but have you ever though of building your own kind of pinsetter for when you build your own real bowling center?
Actually, I haven't thought of building a full scale pinsetter, but I do want to make a half scale model. I think that will be when I'm finished with school, so it would be in about four years I think...

tcas, I have a suggestion,make a distributor with the upside down chain that controls the arm,moving each pin to its chute,look up a AMF 82-70 pinsetter and you would see what im talking about,thought i give you an ideal to help you out on your project! :-p

Random Videos aha, Yeah. That distributor is very interesting. I tried exactly that before Christmas, but it didn’t work because of a couple of reasons. Anyways, that distributor would be perfect for my setup at the moment if it worked. :)
Btw, I’m working on the distributor now (the one I have been working on since last summer) and it just set another set of ten pins! I just have to do some slight modifications. Maybe I’ll be done this week? Maybe I’m too ambitious, but I’ll try! :D

I'm making a 6-pin pinsetter but the alley I made takes up all the pieces. So my idea is to ask, what did you use to make your alleyway?
The lane and the sides? I used lego duplos for the sides and a wooden board for the lane. Then I covered it in paper to make it look nicer. :)
If I had this bowling alleys would be a choice

Dude were you actual loading pins into the table and rolling the marble at the same time?
I bet you had to rush when I saw that the setting table had come down with 0 pins and then a set of pins dropped from the distributor and into the setting table.
I made some cuts to keep things interesting, but I tried my best to load pins as fast as I could while throwing the ball. :P
This will be cooler with the pins sounds

What if the pinsetter is not full but it needs to set the he pins?

how does the machine detect strikes?
I push a button on the side and it will skip the second cycle. In the future, I will connect it to a ultrasonic sensor. :)

Actually not, but I'm getting closer each week. This was recorded by cutting the video between every other shot, as the double loading feature works really nice! :D
