Just so you know next time you need to deal with an adult Maneater, adult Maneaters die in only 5 hits but no matter what unless you have a mod, there is no way to kill it in less than 5 hits, so using a shotgun twice on it would only count as 2 hits, so knife is best against an adult Maneater because of its fast swings
