There way more "european" cities in Brazil, specially in Minas Gerais, Bahia and Pernambuco states. Remenber that Portugal and Spain are in Europe too. And the historical legacy they left in those states surpasses by far those ones in Gramado.
@@NoThisIsntMyChannel The problem here is that you consider German to be european and not Portugal or Spain. Those States have far more european influence not only in architecture but in culture also, and it goes from food, to the accent, to the music and to the people.

Gramado reminds me of Frankenmuth Michigan. Frankenmuth is gorgeous although much smaller.
I have a very similar clock to the one sampled in the store. I spent nearly 2 hours looking at the different clocks in the Black Forrest area of Germany deciding which one to get. ❤️
Enjoyed the tour of Gramado. We were just in Campinas and Rio a couple weeks ago. Love the "winter" weather in Brazil. Beware of scorpions, one of which we encountered on the outside patio of our Airbnb in Campinas.
Did you enjoy your stay in Campinas? Is it worth it visiting?
That has to be the most beautiful salad I have ever seen. US restaurants take note.
LUGAR muito bonito ! 🇧🇷
We always had our shoes especially made with the Shoemaker when living abroad. Made to your specs.
Looks like a beautiful town. The food looks yummy, yummy.
Beautiful salad, oh my goodness!

A fantastic little 'treat yourself' stopover - but I too would be itching to move on pretty quick. YAM xx

Most gorgeous couples 💑 0n earth so happy that you both are healthy ❤️
Gramado is amazing loved the church 👍😉
Thanks, @BobbieD!
Beautiful city. Happy Curt got new shoes. Late Birthday gift...lol. What a wonderful town. Love the chocolate Museum. Be blessed as you continue your Journeys.
He sure needed the shoes! Soon he was going to be running around Brazil bare foot! LOL
@@SnowAndCurt As it turns out, it was a great thing he had good new shoes in that magnificent, scary climb he did. It took my breath away and I thought about his shoes while I who is watching it!
That was fun salivating to ll the chocolate. Thanks for the tour, looked like fun.
If you guys to the beautiful beaches of Northeast of Brazil make sure you visit João Pessoa, Paraiba
I absolutely love your kitties strolling and having fun. Adorable! By the way, the tree we referred to early on is an Araucaria or Parana Pine, a staple evergreen of the southern landscape.
Good to know!
Good morning Snow and Curt 🌞 What an interesting place and the history, we always learn lots while being entertained 😊
Curt I'm with you, I'd weigh a ton, if I lived near that restaurant. Good thing your home is in wheels 🥴 Snow, your salad was insane. It was huge! My favourite Italian soda is Blood Orange, so good and not sweet.
Btw, that garage did fantastic work on your van. I know what they did under the rig is more important, but the storage box and spare tire case look amazing! Safe travels, 🤗🇨🇦
Do you know that you have a subscriber all the way here in the Philippines... I lve watching your videos and i am always looking froward to it.... If you can just say hello, it would make my day soooo happy!
There way more "european" cities in Brazil, specially in Minas Gerais, Bahia and Pernambuco states. Remenber that Portugal and Spain are in Europe too. And the historical legacy they left in those states surpasses by far those ones in Gramado.
Seria legal também eles gravarem um vídeo nessas cidades.
Gramado também é lindo.
Lol, Bahia and Pernambuco are not really european, maybe a few old buildings, but culture wise not at all
@@NoThisIsntMyChannel The problem here is that you consider German to be european and not Portugal or Spain. Those States have far more european influence not only in architecture but in culture also, and it goes from food, to the accent, to the music and to the people.
Good morning Snow and Curt from San Antonio Tx.
Morning!
I'm from the state of Santa Catarina, which is not that far away from Gramado, and I never visited the town. But someday I will, it's on my list👍
Amazing trip!
I am really enjoying this, it is a deleite to travel along with you on your journey 😎
Thank you for the lovely tour. I’m hungry now with chocolate on the top of my list!!
Rio de Janeiro is great but Paraty is a must, a town from colonization time, its in the nature and plenty of great places to park your van.
I agree that while Granado is amazing, I prefer to be in nature too. Thanks for the tour ❤.
That was very interesting, thanks for the history as well! The food looked absolutely gorgeous and I could almost smell the chocolate! It’s nice to visit something very different sometimes and even though it was touristy, I wished I could walk around there and I liked the church and the 12 apostles! G likes his salad!🤣🤣💕🇨🇦
It seems kind of like a high-end Frankenmuth (a much loved Christmas town by us here in Michigan)
Indeed. Gramado has a Christmas festival that lasts all December. The whole town is decorated for Christmas. And most of souvenirs are locally crafted, scattered along multiple little shops, unlike the ones at Bronner’s.
I can't wait for you to reach the awesome food from Minas Gerais and the astonishing beaches from Nordeste (all 9 states) 🤗
Great town. 👍
