Informer event is a good time and well worth the money. Especially if you've never done one. Reduced crowds and a very different atmosphere from the day crowds. We did late November event last year (Christmas change over). Park was virtually empty, Hagrids was a walk on. I'm kinda curious to try one of the higher attendance dates as well.

Yes for the first bit. In my experience it’s while the parks are still open to daytime guests & for around the first 2 hours of the event but it’s not all night

Are the lockers free for this event
Good question, lockers are always free while you ride. But the lockers at the front of the park still need to be rented.
