Sponsorships are a great source of income for creators, but I'm so grateful for your unsponsored review because it makes me trust that it's sincere and unbiased. Also, loved your editing!
Thank you for the comment. In the past I have thought about sponsorships, I even applied with Uproot but got no response and I'm fine with that cause my channel is a variety of nerd hobby type things and travel; not so much pet care. That and I like to try to find products that are beneficial and spread the word for the sake of it.
Yes, I'm honestly impressed with their stuff, but I'm still researching items that help with clothes and furniture. I'm tired of using lint rollers lol.
Awesome, so glad you enjoyed. I discovered they have dryer sheets and the Xtra and Ultra where I don't have to be on my knees but I can pick it up like I'm sweeping my rug, so I will be doing a video on that soon.
Omg this review is awesome. Thank you ! This is just what I needed for my cats fur. I don't have carpet but her cat tree is just like the one you have so I'm going to use it on her cat tree. Thanks for making my decision easier. Thanks for adding the link
You're welcome! 😃 Be advised, depending on the material of your cat tree, it will pick up that material. My cat tree's texture is like a fake carpet so I began to notice the harsh metal was doing too good of a job and started picking the cat tree's material. So I ended up finding something similar, but it has silicon teeth instead of the metal teeth and works just the same and helps with some knit material not all. That's another video I did after this one.
Thanks for this thoughtful video that took so much of your time and manual labor. I was debating between the 2 products you show and am glad to have this knowledge so I can buy the Uproot!
@@JustAnAverageGirl83 it really is worth it to get the large one. It works like a “mop” and you will be shocked at how easy it is to get everything off of the rugs. Easier on my back, at least.
Bought this for my son because he has a dog that sheds. I decided to get a few and give as gifts and kept one for myself. Just used this on my sofas worked very well. I have two dogs that shed. Now I will order the bigger one. Thank you for the video it was very helpful.
I'm glad, just make sure to study away from knit or wooly items cause that will ruin those items and you'll do just fine. I'll be following up with their latest item that hopefully will be less painful on the back. Take care and Happy New Year!
Glad to hear it! I purchased the long handled one and reviewed that too. I personally am not a fan of it, though it picks up the fur, to me it's not as deep as the original is as I compared the two as well. The combs on the broom is not like the original uproot, I find them to be too far apart. You have to find a side that works for you so I guess it depends on where it works best: (rugs, stairs, etc...) any advice on how to use it properly would be appreciated as I don't know if I'm using it right. 😅
Excellent review. Thank you! Your review helped solidify my decision to buy the Uproot. I've been using a device similar to the Chom Chom but it never captures enough fur. I am hoping to have the same level of success with Uproot as you.
Thank you! Now don't throw your chom chom away. I still use that and the pet vacuum for materials that the uproot would destroy. But when it comes to thicker items like rugs its perfect. For carpets, it can pick up some loose pieces but not a lot.
Really?! I saw it on Facebook, then I heard others saw it on Instagram and tiktok but I love it. It may not cover woven material but it works on carpeted areas very well.
Just loved your review, subscribed right away, please make one for clothes too which tyoe of tool is best on clothes specially that you are wearing cause using lint roller all the time means a lot of sticker sheets,
You're right about that. So far I haven't found a tool just yet; still working on a definitive solution. I don't recommend uproot's tools for that its waay too harsh.
No problem, I hope it has been a life saver for you. It still is and don't forget, like I said in the video sewn, or stitched up material is a no go cause it will destroy the material. It will pick up some carpet material as you go but depending on how thick your rug is, I haven't had a problems with that.
It does, but it will pick up small lint like pieces of the carpet. When I was staying with my folks during the last hurricane that hit Florida, my cat and I stayed in their spare bedroom that had polyester type carpet. When I went back home, I went back and cleaned up any cat hair that was in the room using uproot, and it was picking up the fur, but small surface pieces and thankfully not from the root of the carpet. I personally feel over time it may weaken the carpet but again it depends on the type of carpet you have. Hope this helps.

I dont mind sponsored videos as long as they are made clear and honest like this one
@nidarahman2305 I appreciate the comment. If there is a product that catches my interest, I wanna make sure it's worth the money. 😆
What a great review. I am going to give this a try. You actually used it and showed how I will need to use it on a similar rug

Enjoyed all your hard work put into this video!

Got mine in the mail today, except it is the large one. Love it! It took care of so much fur!
Beautiful, I do plan to get the bigger one to cover more ground. 😂 Happy Holidays

Thank you for doing this video. Very well done! Your comparison helped us decide on our purchase!
Very welcome, I just purchased their dryer sheets and want to see if its better than most when it comes to collecting pet hair from clothes

I'm looking for something that specifically works on fleece jackets (black) which is a nightmare
Thanks😊
Thank you for this. 😊
You're welcome 😊
Does the uproot work on actual carpet? It’s slightly higher pile VS a rug. Plz let me know?!

This was cute thank you!
You weren’t using that lint roller correctly
I figured as much 😂
I hear that it puls holes in clothes…
