- Very cheap vintage lens Pentacon MC 50mm f1.8 on a cheap m4/3 relatively old digital camera Panasonic GH3.
Great results for such a cheap lens and camera combo.
Lovely bokeh and shallow depth of field.
Sharpness is not great at f1.8 but when you stopped down to f2.8 the sharpness is increasing. For video work, sharpness at f1.8 is more than enough.
Very close minimum focusing distance of 33 cm.
Lens is m42 mount and is easily adapted with a cheap m42 to m4/3 adapter to GH3.
Brilliant video! I fell in love with the wild, almost-surreal bokeh of the Meyer Optik Gorlitz Primoplan 58mm f1.9. But they are quite expensive... Then I discovered the Pentacon; which delivers similar bokeh at a bargain price. What a joy to use!
Man it feels like watching the after life or something. This is extremely dreamy. Love the character of this lens
Wow! Just Wow!
Magical Lens i love my pentacon.
I think I will have to look at this video every day from now on. My god, you did such a good job, and the music is absolutely perfect. This is wonderful.
This footage is awesome! And the music really compliments it really well and creates a very immersive mood. I love this!
i'm to buy this for my G7, and with your video now, I'm walking on air!
Great video! Just got this lens and very much looking forward to using it.

Is your focus ring smooth?
Hii. Thank u for this video. This lens a radioactieve?
Wow that's some great imagery, stunning. Very smooth footage as well. What kind of stabilization so you use, a slider? And what else can you tell us about shooting this footage, please.
Thank you for your compliment. I just used a simple slider. Cheapest one
@@FilmCameraLens Great, thanks for the info!
Did you use a tumble, slider or was this handheld?
Slider, cheapest basic slider
@@FilmCameraLens nice. The manual ones?
@@rinusworldzm yes, the cheapest
@@FilmCameraLens your footage makes it look like one of those electronic ones. I have a manual one from Neewer. I almost gave up on it till you mentioned you use a cheap one. Your videos amazing.
I recently bought a set of 4 of the Pentacon Praktica lenses (28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 35-70mm f3.5 and the 135mm f2.8). Your video inspired that decision. I'm waiting to get them and then a camera later (working in reverse). Thank you.
Its a radioactive lens ?
