By the way, what you want to do when trimming/cutting is find zero crossings. Turns out Audacity has the Z key hotkeyed for that purpose, so you can press that so it will always move the selection trim point(s) to the nearest edge that is at zero on the waveform. (Also I wouldn't be too surprised if there's a preference setting to always do cuts at zero crossings, but haven't dug into that part of the program in a while.)
Hey i was wondering how you can take a sample form the internet and make it full on audacity perfectly without the static coming in every time you try to loop it
Hey, I didn't mean to compare Audacity with other DAW's. I meant it more like Audacity is very convenient and straight-forward in terms of audio editing.
Man, you háve no clue, right? I mean, are you aware what "sampling" means when talking about building some music? Where are the samplers? How to automaticaly cut right before all and each transients you want (not one by one)? There must be a way to use Audacity to do that. If not yet, I think they should go for it...

Absolutely not capable for sampling! Seemless editing inside a sample is not working. Loop points don't exist. Whatever you understand of "sample"... this is baby stuff. One-shot-sampling for DAW kiddies.

what do you do for songs that don't follow perfect tempo?
he did not cut the end enough😭
What is Audacity better at compared to Ableton?

It's better in terms of price
If you're a great at what you can do you can limit your tools and still come up with a good product

Nobody would do this with audacity. That's what you pay $200 for FL Studio for, or Ableton.
