Hi Javier 👍 yes for sure he's one of the greats, mostly used it from the rear leg but still a great shot 💯

Hax is a great adaptation that can be used from basically any position . I prefer the back leg axe though when me and my opponent have different legs forward. The start looks like a turning kick to the body and most good competitors in an open stance will try to blitz you with hands before it lands. That's when it lands over their outside shoulder. All axe kicks are beautiful when they land. Keep up the good work.

That's a nice set up 😉👍 like the idea. Does it land often?

@@TKDCoachAcademy Generally when I spar people in an open stance we use mostly blitzes and front leg techniques since back leg is relatively slow. Axe-Hax kicks from the back leg have a long windup compared to sidekicks and turning kicks so most people don't even use them in sparring , so they are not expected. It shouldn't work, so people don't expect it and that's why it works. I find myself landing these once per fight at least just because nobody uses them. It's usually safe unless you get sidekicked and lose balance that's why it is best to play the front leg game for a bit before trying it
