I think most of the lack of difficulty in RealRTCW 4.0 comes from them removing the health penalty from the original 3.0 version. It used to be 25 on realism but they put it to 100 for some reason. Must have thought it looked weird on the new health bar or something. Wine and bandages also heal you completely instead of doing 25 or 30. Edit: Nevermind, I just noticed you can switch to actual numbered HUD values in the settings,. Portable items still heal to full health but everything else does around 5HP or less.

Forget about all these modern attempts at halflike attempts. RTCW is my fav Halflike game, second only to HalfLife itself
