Thank you for the video Soph. Really put a few principles into perspective for me. I am considering the USC MBA program coming from a BS in Electrical Engr/Biomed Engr. I had a couple questions if I may ask. Did you find the MBA program & network helped facilitate opportunities in specific industries? Or is it a very broad program? Also, I have been experience in engineering and business, current job is a 100k salary (27M). Do you recommend acquiring a lower paying job for taxes purposes in order to qualify for better financial aide?
I’m pursuing MBA degree right now…I’m anxious about my profile too. When it comes applying jobs in CA as an international student, which school would be more competitive ? USC or UCLA ?
Book is more detailed and has more context than lectures for sure. But in lectures or discussions, you hear about your classmates experience with the topic (sometimes they are really insightful and sometimes straight up irrelevant), and you can't find that in a textbook
Just paid my deposit to go to USC. This is super helpful!
Yay, congratulations! Welcome to the trojan fam!

If you've read textbooks, how does their content compare to what you learn in an MBA program?

So for me is a no.
I will look for something more affordable.
