Your vid is kinda unfair tho, pretty sure your Widsith is at R5, we gotta compare Jade at R5 as well, altho it takes 5 whole months to completely upgrade it, the passive provides both HP% and EM which are the best stats for Neuvillette, only then we can come to the conclusion if Jade is actually the best 4 star catalyst for Neuvillette or not

Somewhere i have heard sac jade r5 slightly surpasses his SIG though I'm not sure about the validity of that.
@@ayyjay1575 Wtfdym R5 Jade shouldnt be compares with R5 Widsith? They are both 4 stars weapons. Say sth that make sense, if you wanna compare free weapons then this video is wrong in the first place. In term of 4 stars weapons, Jade R5 is clearly the best thanks to the passive, meanwhile the elemental buff from Widsith is too inconsistent. Comparing a Jade R1 against R5 weapons is just dumb

I don't buy BP, and I hate Widsith's inconsistency when the character can't benefit from all 3 buffs, so since I couldn't get his weapon I'm going with Proto Amber. It doesn't give big buffs but it has a sizable HP bonus, regenerates 18 energy when at R5 which improves rotation consistency as it makes easier to have his burst ready quickly, and the health regen is sometimes appreciated by other team members. It's all in all the most consistent weapon for F2Ps and low spenders who couldn't get Jade or his signature weapon.
Prototype Amber is to him what Amenoma Kageuchi is to Ayaka, plus healing that can help a lot (especially in the current 12-1).
I have the BP weapon and a R5 Amber, honestly I'm in the edge about the BP weapon, since when I eventually get a decent Marechaussee set you will have too much CR that it will make it hard to get decent rolls on the artifacts. You get 82.8% CR without any substats, and I just got an 11.7 CR substat crown so I'm at the edge for the rest of the pieces, this might open more versatility on the substats, but I'm still left with only HP%, ER % CD and maybe EM as viable, more than 2 substats in CR for my other 4 pieces and it's now useless. We will see how this ends.
But so far it is wayyyy more comfortable with Amber, more so since I run Raiden, Nahida (fav) and Kazuha (fav) so they take some damage there and then with less damage per charge attack, but burst every rotation.

if you use vape comp on neuvy then widsith is kind of still better because if you get ele mastery bonus passive then your vape does more dmg so you wont be losing out that much dps id say..
He thing is vape is not consistent so it would be a minimal improvement
So without buffs Prototype is slightly better than Widsith. Keep in mind that the Widsith buff is anything but consistent. Not only are 2 of the 3 possible buffs useless for him but it also has a 20sec cooldown. I say useless because he doesn't scale off ATK and he applies hydro too fast to make any use of EM (usually others trigger the reactions). Prototype is probably the better option overall, especially if your Widsith isn't r5. It basically reduces the energy cost to 52. And it's even better with Furina. You won't need a healer to get a decent buff.

idk why i'm seeing this after 6 months but imma say why sac jade is good you get 36 something crit rate from it then 36 from marechausse and 5 percent which all characters have and boom easy 77 crit rate even without artifacts (not the set bonus) even if only get 3.9 on all pieces you'll get something around 95-97 crit rate and imagine all other rolls going to crit dmg
I have a question for the sacrificial jade. The buff it gives activates everytime you change to the character that uses it, like staying on field? I just didn't really understand if the weapon gives that buff whenever a combat starts or it gives it when the character that uses it is on field. But like, when the 10 seconds passes it can buff your character again? Or is it just once until you get into a combat again?
If your neuvilette is off field, the buff will activated, and then u can use your neuvilette on field for the next 10 seconds until the buff canceled. To reactivated the buff again, uh... just put you neuvilette off field for 5 seconds and it's ready again!

Prototype amber really shines as a craftable weapon and the amount of catalyst billet you get from boss

Guys, wtf, It's just 41.3 hp vs 55% crit dmg, base characteristics of Prototype and Widsith are same (in terms of stats). You just choose between some comfort of lil bit healing & ER and 33% chance to get nice dmg buff. Personally I always choose damage..
when you already have an r5 Proto-Amber, you might as well pull for Neuvillette it seems
I don't like how they all use Kazuha as if we all have him. Like bruh he just came out same time as Neuvi so I had to go for N. I don't have Zhongli too so i use Daehya. Am gonna get Furina when she comes out so was wondering if PA is better than SJ when paired with her

Idk man. Maybe I'm biased but Prototype Amber always underwhelmed me when I was trying to use it. It always felt WAY worse than Widsith, I don't even know why. Is there any Crit Damage threshold maybe after which Prototype is better and I'm just below it? Because I am struggling with crit damage and maybe Widsith feels way better just for main stat alone.
In any case, I did get Sacrificial Jade and will likely try for his signature on rerun because again, my experience with Prototype has been pretty awful and that it's really better off being on Baizhu rather than Neuvillette.
You have to balance the weapon's stats with the ones in the artifacts. since you get alot of HP and ER from Prototype, you don't need those stats on artifacts as much. Check if you somehow have too much or too little of certain useful stats.
For me is the same, i get way bigger numbers with widsith r5, i also got sacrificial jade so ima try it with Neuvi to se how it goes

I used the widsith as a stat stick, and it felt bad, lol. I got r1 amber and the passive feels great, so I refine it to 5😂. No additional healing required, unless you meet the hounds in the abyss. Super annoying.

ik the food buff in there is to be used..but i always test my character without food buff and i rarely use food buff..so i was surprised by the number till i saw the food buff but overall is great test though.
Crit rate food does not increase dmg in any way

The food buffs were to standardize the CRIT ratio I believe, so that there would be an even plane of crop values for all the weapon and it would be a fair comparison.
Well, just reset abyss till u get elemental dmg bonus, proto amber is more than enough for overworld especially since u get er from it

Btw how do you use sac jade ? Like it says switch him for 5 seconds like so I press his skill then switch to other characters for 5 seconds and then switch back to neuvi?
No it means if Neuv is switched off field for 5 sec or more, his hp inc will happen....then u bring him on field, n if he stays on field longer than 10 sec, the buff will be gone (unless before 10 sec, like in 8 sec u swap Neuv out n then back, the time limit will reset to 10 sec again)

@@heck8598 Yup, you can check on some threads on Google, people have discussed this. I'm not sure how many times you can pull this, but it does work one time for sure
@@heck8598 make sure neuvi is off field for 5 seconds or more to activate the buff. and later make sure he is on field 9 seconds or less.

how much hp do you have without either weapon. if its lower than 35k, go for amber. if its higher, go for widsith.

Widsith pasif buff really suck, its give big number but only for 1 rotation (if u get elemental dmg bonus pasif) and you will get 1 rotation without buff (or maybe more than 1 rotation if u get wrong note pasif).. unconsistent damage per-rotation (glad it has big cdmg)
My Neuvi is using Lost prayer to the sacred wind instead
but sac jade is only lvl 80??? while others are 90.
Lvl doesnt matter because thr only useful thing youd get from 80 to 90 would be 3%cr

and if you don't normalize that crit rate into crit value than the whole point is moot
in showcases you also need to normalize energy recharge as part of a DPS showcase
IE the difference between having Enough ER for a rotation to nothing having impact DPS
This Neuv doesn’t benefit from a higher level sacrificial jade. The main damage boost comes from it’s passive and this showcase has crit foods.

using crit food can/should also be normalized which this showcase doesn't

nah, cause his artifact set gives him an automatic +36 CR, so if you just get a few CR substats (already up to like 45-55%) he's basically guaranteed crit hit. In my team widsith is his best 4* weapon IMO with hp% sands and goblet and crit dmg circlet bc he already gets 30% hydro dmg bonus from his talent, u dont need hydro dmg goblet

I use R1 Lost Prayer and 4pc Wanderer Neuvillette with Hp circlet and got a ratio of 63/202%. He crits mosts of the time.
it's pretty good. IIRC, I think it's equal to Wrio BiS (CR stat and CA dmg bonus), surprisingly. If youve got enough ER substats and some teammates are on Fav, use it instead of PAmber.

Lost prayer passive is kinda hard to trigger on Neuvi, Amber is the best f2p option, even over the other 5* if we’re talking about long term dmg (abyss).

I don't have one but use prototype amber or jade it's better activating lost prayer passive is tricky on him and if you still wan use it I think replacing hydro dmg goblet with hp will work
lost prayer is perfect for rizzley if you planning to get him.
lost prayer is better. Damage output is higher than amber even without its passive activated. The great thing here is u will 100% crit all the damage despite using crit damage circlet since hunter set give 36% crit rate. Dont be fooled by only seeing the screenshot number, see the whole rotation. If u have energy problem then something wrong with your build, probably lack of er substat or bad comp.
Neuvillete's damage comes from % max HP, not from % attack. So the best team uses 2 hydro resonance to add % max HP and a food buff to increase max HP to increase Neuvillete's damage. % attack is useless for Neuvillete, the best team at the moment is solo The biggest damage is the team vaporize 2 hydro, 1 pyro and 1 anemo. The best party are Neuvilete C0, Mona C2, Xiangling C4, and Sucrose C6. For the weapons, Original Tome Of Ethernal Flow no. 1, Sacrifical Jade R5 No. 2, No. 3 Prototype Amber R5
but you need 3 reactions to maximize his CA damage. having hydro resonance won't achieve that.

He doesn't really need an er weapon you can get away with 130-140 er which are very easy to get from substats

Not bad, but it's much better to get prototype amber because you're buffing damage and getting burst up, and you don't want to stay onfield for too long. Buffs from support will run out n stuff.

It's not as consistent because the passive ramps up over time, plus investing only into dmg bonus is diminishing returns. With Kazuha and a4, Neuvillette will do more dmg with an HP buffing weapon like sac jade or amber. Sac jade is just better in almost every respect.
If by "free" you mean that its easy to get since we have it on standard, I have played this game since launch and still dont have one lmao

This! It really annoys me that neuvilette ocan on-field for only 10 SECONDS because of the buff. And uh there's widsith.. Good crit dmg but the passive is just stupid
Idk I think maintaining sacrificial jade's passive is not that hard and you have to apply other buffs like vv shred and other party members utils also that's why I think it's a good weapon.
U don't need a lot of DMG in overworld and in abyss it's very easy to keep the weapon buff up
this is exactly why I'm extremely on edge whether if i should buy BP for Sacrificial Jade, or just stick with Prototype Amber, i really don't like the 10 sec on field limit cus i want to walk around with Neuvillette 😭😭

He scales off of HP so if you use prototype Amber on him it might increase his overall damage. Paired with 2 piece millelith and 2 piece heart of depth or any other hp and hydro dmg types of artifacts is better
