  • Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another cake video! Back to basics with this video! Frosting a cake with ganache can be scary sometimes, but with the right temperature of your cake and ganache, it can be easy!
    Ganache ingredients
    One 12 oz bag semi sweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 cup)
    1 cup heavy cream
    Place ingredients in bowl, then melt gradually in microwave at one minute then again for 30 seconds. Repeat if needed. Stir until smooth. Place aside to cool completely, or place in fridge/ freezer until thick in texture.

    This looks so yummy! I have two questions. How many batches of ganache did you use to cover the cake and after the cake has set for a while will the ganache crack when slicing it? Thanks for the video.

      Hi jan! i only used 1 batch of the recipe. the ganache wouldn't Crack if have it sit out since it'll be somewhat soft enough to cut
