  • After a whirlwind rise from a 12-year old Morzine-based phenom, to a world championship and multiple world cup-winning global superstar, Tahnée Seagrave is one of the most modest gifted riders to have ever graced the mountain bike race tracks of the world. This will not be news to many.
The story of a great racer goes beyond what happens between the tapes though; from ascendancy to the pinnacle of the world cup downhill to successive injuries in a short span of time left Tahneé in need of release from a world that can become all-consuming.
Finding happiness in simplicity and power in her own voice has been key to navigating the journey back towards contentment. Now, in the depth of the off-season, Tahnée looks forward to discovering her future frontiers with a newfound perspective that makes her more motivated, faster, and an overall healthier well-rounded athlete and human.

Very honest interview from tahnee, bless her sounds like she’s taken on a lot of pressure.

I love her raw, honesty; her willingness, and her courage to put herself out there. She is such an amazing ambassador for the sport. Can't wait for the 2022 DH season!

I'm a massive DH fan -- so I'm clearly biased -- but its amazing to me that all the top downhillers seem like really solid, genuine, good, people, which seems pretty rare in sport. Tanhee is no exception, great video.

You can definitely see how much she's changed over the years (for the better). Hardest part of progressing is realizing and admitting the things that aren't going perfect in your life at the moment, and accepting them. It's how we move on from those things that shows strength and courage. Tahnee is a warrior and an inspiration to so many and it was such a pleasure to meet her at Mont Sainte Anne. I wish her the best in 2022 and beyond!

Really honest and brave disclosures, especially the mental side which is always overlooked.

Time takes care of all that, it’s impossible to give up Mountain Biking. I’m in my mid 60’s, still breaking bones and getting back in the Saddle again.

If you practice long enough, riding is that thing you do between one injury and the next.

i remember the 1st press release about her on Dirt years and years ago and i watched her journey from morzine as a young lass right up to now, there are millions who are proud of you young lady - injuries are part of our game as you know so i say from a racer to a racer, keep it up and remain happy - . Being happy matters and affects on and off bike performance, as you know.

Very nice video, very cathartic the way she went through the process of these injuries and how satisfying it is to watch her shred nowadays ❤️

What cassette are you using on the trainer as it looked like a Shimano one? Wahoo needs to get the 12 speed Shimano adapter sorted as it drives me crazy.
