- After dislocating and breaking my ankle in February, I’m now in the last phase of my rehab, easing my way back in to riding bikes. Covid has been a disaster in many ways and has made this journey a little difficult, but if there’s a silver lining it’s being able to get back in to riding without the pressure of making it back in time to compete at World cups, and being able to shred my home spots in summer with all my mates! This is what the first week back looked like :)
Kade is a seeeeriously stylish, need more of him riding! More dog too, mine was nearly through the telly when she was on!

We all are excited to see you race again Tahnee, and I hope the pressure is not overwhelming for you at first. It must have felt great to get back on your downhill bike again, hopefully whatever product you were testing for possibly Fox or Oakley makes its way to us soon!

Tahnée, well done video. I liked the variety of it. What was cool is you admitting that doing the jumps is scary. I used to race BMX as a kid, out of it, then back it at 30 and broke my collarbone twice in a year. The second one required surgery. Wasn't on the bike much for nearly 16 years. I got into mountain biking in 2016 and I still fear the jumps. I decided to go to Ireland and race the Red Bull Fox Hunt in 2017, my first mountain bike race EVER. I had a spectacular crash, but still finished the race and beat people. Still scared of jumps, but I went back the following year. Still crashed, but had an amazing time. I have been to Mont-Sainte-Anne for the World Cups and World Championship from 2017-2019, missing this year, so bummed. I go to hang out and take photos with and hang with Sven, Boris, Dan, and Andy. Coming to mountain biking has been a game changer. I am 53, and in a couple of weeks I am going to be 54 and I was supposed to race the EWS80 in Vermont. Again, the coolest part of the video is admitting you are scared of jumps. That is tough to do. I know you will kill it an wish you all the best!! Keep up the good work, BostonDon
