I used to race BMX as a kid, out of it, then back it at 30 and broke my collarbone twice in a year. The second one required surgery. Wasn't on the bike much for nearly 16 years. I got into mountain biking in 2016 and I still fear the jumps. I decided to go to Ireland and race the Red Bull Fox Hunt in 2017, my first mountain bike race EVER. I had a spectacular crash, but still finished the race and beat people. Still scared of jumps, but I went back the following year. Still crashed, but had an amazing time. I have been to Mont-Sainte-Anne for the World Cups and World Championship from 2017-2019, missing this year, so bummed. I go to hang out and take photos with and hang with Sven, Boris, Dan, and Andy. Coming to mountain biking has been a game changer. I am 53, and in a couple of weeks I am going to be 54 and I was supposed to race the EWS80 in Vermont. Again, the coolest part of the video is admitting you are scared of jumps. That is tough to do. I know you will kill it an wish you all the best!! Keep up the good work, BostonDon
