Great job Dan! You are doing real well on the soft plastic
Thanks Bob!
Great video. Early in the season I’ve done well on party boats with a 3/0 teaser and gulp shrimp
Dan, I can tell ya man. I always enjoy watching your sessions.
Keep up the good work
Thank you for the kind words!
Awesome catches!!
Thank you!
🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣 nice dog fish action!!!
Thank you!
great video bro
Thank you!
Great video Dan. A lot of fish around for sure.
Thanks Greg! Happy the season is starting to heat up!
A successful session and an interesting channel, I have subscribed. We are looking forward to more videos.
Thank you!
10:41 that was funny and on the last day of school you should get a tank and get a fish to bring to school, or take us on a trip with you! 😅
Haha, thanks Ken!
An amazing day on the water 👌 on Saturday, one keeper landed on my kayak but there were a lot of jet skis and boats around me which drove me crazy 😅 that day I started using 1/4 oz. (following your advice) with no results but when I put on 1.3 oz and immediately started catching fish 🙈 I'm completely confused now 😅 I have exactly the opposite as you 😄 of course great video my friend 👏💪👍
Haha, yeah… sometimes bigger can work better! Each day/place/tide can be different! Glad you found a keeper!
@@FishinAccomplished thank you for your tips, they really help me to understand fish better 😊
To fix your measuring board, get a pro sharpie and just re-touch the markings. just clean it with some rubbing alcohol first. nice rainy-day project.
Hmmm, thanks for the advice, I’ll give that a try!
Hey Dan! Is there any reason you won't keep dogfish? I am still very new to fishing!
While they are edible, from what I hear, it’s quite a bit of work to properly clean/prepare them for eating
You find that the procure works as well as gulp?
Eh, hard to say… I suppose it really depends what kind of bite you are dealing with. I’m beginning to think gulp works better when you take longer drifts, and you are more in the process of trying to find fish. Meanwhile, procure is nice when you KNOW there are fish under you, but maybe they’re a bit more on the picky side. Either can work well if used in the right scenario.
Dan - don't you have to be wary of the spikes sticking out of those dogfish?
Yes, with the spiny dogfish, this was a smooth dogfish
Nice voice. You should do radio.
Haha, not the first time I’ve gotten this kind of feedback! Thanks!
Is this still the Long Island Sound?
He said it was south shore. I didn't know where it is.
Not this time, this was the south shore
Jamaica Bay, off Kingsborough Community College.
Looks to me like you’re off Coney Island or College points that’s not New York City buddy. If you wanna go up to east river there’s a lot of fluke there right at the mouth of the Hudson going into the east river try it out.
Hmmm, interesting, thanks for sharing!
He's right off Kingsborough Community College.
Where in the sound ?
