- The Wendigo is Real! Looks to be the new mini boss for Ice Caves. Very interesting Layout and map so far. Wish I could play it more without map rotation. Solo Club weapon testing as well.

Splendid Video there Wilson, i look forward to another narrated adventure soon of yours, i managed to slay the Wendigo as Warlock by getting behind the health shrine, it took many hits including with BOC on a longsword.
That first gate doesn’t open, however if you go to the lower floor there is another mini boss and when you kill him that lift becomes a team extract!
Also that skull headed mini boss you fought you never would have killed as far as I know nothing damages him at all we were geared fighter/cleric spamming head shots, except 1 cross bow to his heart in the middle dropped him.. buddy and I did a lot of duos last night wanting to figure out little bits of new map. Hope this helps anyone because the ice cavern is tough!

That first gate does open. It opens on a timer late into the game like other extracts. You can jump down into the lift and extract without killing the mini boss. I did this solo cause I didn't want to fight the wendigo
The ice cave is sick! Looking forward to the other ice levels. I also love how the circle is gone and replaced by a blizzard / slowly freezing to death effect

Fun fact, wendigo's weak spot is his blue hearth, not his head
that horned beast with the deer skull is called a Leshen, also known as a Spriggan, is actually a Wendigo from ancient folk lore
Ehh Wendigo are native american folklore, and they bear no resemblance to the wendigo in game. That wendigo is just some white movie director's creation who did no research until after he made his movie.
If these are the mini bosses can only imagine the big boss 😱

Demon form is pretty cool, but it slowly wears down the warlocks health. you keeping out of reach while he follows you is viable. but the dark bolts he throws are free to use, so be careful of those attacks.
Kobolds are small subterranean lizardmen who typically are found worshiping beings of greater power, dragons usually being the most common.
They can be a nightmare in groups.
Yeah but in actual dungeons and dragons,kobolds are more dragon like,the dark and darker kobolds are more world of warcraft inspired

I think, for the wendigo, the blue orb on his stomach is a weak point to shoot and kill him faster.

so my theory is that instead of the levels going down in this map there gonna go up because rn that elevator is an exit but it takes you up. they said the big map boss would be a dragon. im thinking you fight the dragon at the top of the mountain. as far as those wendigo's go their pretty nuts we hit one with enough hellfires to kill lich, i guess he has magic resist or something going on, but i think you can easily dodge him the same way you dodge the berserker in inferno. he has the same attack pattern just with his claws instead of a sword and an extra lunge attack.
In the last devcast they stated it'll start in the ice village, then go down to the ice caves (what we currently have), then lastly the ice abyss.

That's crazy.. it's sooo good all around. Hard to miss.. armour pen... Same dmg as arming sword... Breaks doors. Holy!
For the wendigo just duck and dodge in the direction of his arm swings, he's actually really simple

would be cool if there was ice creatures that shatter if you kill them. or if the skellies shattered cuz they basically look like made out of ice. missed opportunity :P

You can duck the wendigo's swings the same way you can do it with the berserker in hell
yea, after rewatching I had a feeling of this too
looks like u do more damage to the wendigo in their chest, i hit him in the head with a geared up warlock and got like 15-20 head hits to die

You can turn it off tho. Also you can gain +10 all in demon form lol
Yo this map is impossible, I’ve played it like 6 times and I’ve only extracted once from a static, I haven’t even seen a blue portal yet, there’s so many mobs in every room
The density and HP of the mobs is a little ridiculous
There are no blue portals, only 11 statics.
Barb really shouldn't be getting any new weapons already with the way how its such a low maintenance class.
