iron will should give 5-8 will just like fermata gives 5 resourcefulness on bard...In fact why dont they add a "general stat perk" to each class? i know this would lower the magic resist to 25-40 but it would increase magic damage making pairing with wizard/ignite better, it would increase magical interaction speed too. Maybe asking about RE-allocating a FEW (3-5) stat points for characters once they reach level 20. Might make for an interesting interview question

In solos axe mastery should be much better as well unless you get third partied. In trios savage is really good as you will likely take another fight right after winning(and taking dmg) in your first 1v1.

I found you today in my recommended. Started playing Dark & Darker due to friends about 5 days ago. Playing free account as a fighter (and not really knowing much since friends also VERY new), I learned a lot from your mob guide 101 videos for each map. Also learned some cool tactics I need to try overall when solo or with friends. Usually I run duo with a bard as a spear / crossbow fighter. We get up to some shenanigans, but our lack of knowledge definitely cost us fights we probably should have won. Thanks for all your guides, tips, tricks, and great breakdowns!

@@tano1670 I mean it depends on the person. If you're just learning the game, having nonstop veterans hunt you down because all they care about is pvp is stupid. I would be kinda mad too if I kept dying all night, which is what happened when I started playing months ago... just go in, try to learn the map, where's what and mob mechanics, and then you either die to a landmine as a solo (this was back when rogue landmine was 80% of lobbies), or to buffball as trios. Duos were kinda a hodgepodge but for the most part a fighter/ranger duo were almost unbeatable, at least in normals.

hey, great video, i love the explanations and the plays are sick; i noticed some matches are in HR and some in norms, it would be nice to have a specification of what kind of lobby you are in and with what gear score bracket, or if you just always try to aim for 125+ in norms to get that juicy player loot; any kind of specification is appreciated
Its crazy how quickly these videos become out of date. It's been 3 days and I can't get these kits at 250g anymore. The longbow itself gone up to 150g, turnshoes are 120g, Ranger Hoods are up to 125g. I think videos like these have a direct impact on market prices.
Hey, I’m beginner playing Bard. When will u post the third episode ? I rly like the content and advice. What’s the stats should I go on bard ? Dex or pdr ? Geared bard are rly tanks (160hp)
Dex, Str, +Dmg are all good, plus armor rolls, resourcefulness and will for buff length. You can build faster and more damaging for solos, and more tanky and frontliner like for trios
you could try a backstep shotgun combo, its a little hard to execute, but you basically go to an enemy, and activate shotgun, then jump and look back and activate backstep, this way you can quickly position yourself for the shotgun, it sounds hilarious and i would like you to try it the nex video
Did they raise the damage on ranger traps without including it in the patch notes? They do seem like they hurt big time the few times I have stumbled into one. Also I cannot stand the fighter playing like rangers meta we are currently in. It’s beyond unfun and frustrating. Great video as always though, cheers!
Damage maybe, but they definitely increased the duration a lot. I was told by Jay the blue traps are 18 seconds.... Also yeah the weapon mastery change was a predictable and avoidable problem, but here we are. I'm not a fan either.

ranger is good in 1v1 scenarios is you have space, one of the best but clearing room and the fear of face checking a melee class or rogue is so treacherous you have to play so passively

I know i sound salty but I just dont get how you dont get land mine rogued, played 3 games today on wizard and ranger and lost all of them to landmine 100-0 rogue
I do sometimes. Rogues are pretty good right now. You have to play careful when you know a Rogue is near, but the ones that perma walk around crouched are hard to notice sometimes.

It's a fun game but there's a lot of people that do crazy things in my matches and I can't do much. but I am learning things and it's fun. @@awgmax They're pretty even in low gear but if you have higher power scaling the axe perk becomes substantially better

I always play HR or 125+ Normals rn. I'm never in 24 or 124 unless it is an accident, in which case I hunt the lame min-maxxers or just extract early.

I think you are right. It happened to Halberds last video. Maybe try it in a few days and some prices might be down.
Would you say Lizard skin is the best compared to Lycan or Orc in low gs bracket like - 24 or even -124 ??
Depends what class/build/map/etc you are running. Lycan is awful, Lizard is good at low gear levels and Orc is viable anytime (minor difference)

I brought it in. My gearscore is so low that I buy a blue weapon to put me in the 125 bracket so I can hunt geared players.

When building an expensive Barb kit when do you stop caring about MS / Dex and start building health or dmg?
You can't stop caring about MS on Barb. You need about 10% Action Speed at a minimum. Barb's just awful to play atm.

Fighter is a great starter class and so is Cleric. Glad you are having fun and learning!
