This is a breath of fresh air compared to games like Evony in which the top whales have such an obscene advantage that the entire game revolves around dealing with them.
It does make you take extreme long time for low budget but this guy is right it’s doable without. Small payment be for the building pack so you get 3 builders and the healer hero decent for early game. Rest even warhammer not really needed.
$100 for a top ship... come on, dude!
Not as bad as eve echoes... 2800$ for top ship. Or Diablo, people spending 1-2mil...

I remember one guy spend too much on his acc in diablo4, he became too op and couldnt get any matches in pvp and couldnt do guild missions for which you needed something from pvp XD

Just hope the whale clans playing last fortress or warpath don't come here. Guilds of 90 players were everyone has spent 10k+ exist. And yes, they are well organized and play the objectives well.
I can't pay to win if I want to, I keep getting a purchase failed message when I try, can't buy anything and support is ignoring me. But thanks to your tips and tricks, I'm having fun anyway.

I think games that require a lot of money to get a little progress is a lot less pay to win than require a little money to get a lot of progress
It is pay2win for sure. I've started 3 weeks ago, I'm pretty active, my ship level was 15, but some other guy has lvl25, which ruins our entire gang alone. That's it, folks

Honestly, this game is 100% f2p friendly. The gap between f2p and low to mid spenders isn't that huge. You teally need to be some multi-milionair kid or guy to whale things up and make the "dream" 1vALL. I played RoK, CoD and manu more type of this game and there was huge difference between f2p an md low spenders..not mentioning whales. The prices are corect in my opinion. You either whale tf up and trashtalk in chat like any other whale you can be a mid to low to f2p player and play with gang.
We all know its pay 2 win, but this is the kind of analysis that is helpful 👍
I like to spent a little money for some epic heroes and the shipbuilding guy, but I found no way to register for buying. They don't know me so no spending is possible. I would understand the opposit way better.
is it a question or a statement? I play a clearly pay to win game, whoever pays also decides which servers to have against or who wins the season... support and VIP service do not answer you when you are pressed

as long as you don't have a bounty on your ship you won't loss anything important you will like 50k wood and around same iron while you have millions of them so you shouldn't care about getting attacked although there is a way to protect yourself but you must stay at port

you basically don't really care if anyone robbing you. Put the ship on the autotrade so it's more challenging to pursuit you

I'd like to hear you talk about the summoning banners more. I already did the starter banners and I've got over 100 conch now but I'm just not sure if I should wait for the next banner or summon on this the heroine in her banner. I mean I guess it depends on what pirate banner is coming after it and if qi lanting is really worth it or not next to what ever banner is coming next but does anyone know what the next banner will be?

Unfortunately, it’s like this with all mobile games. If you’re not a whale you’re going nowhere there is no free to play games. No such thing it’s unfortunate but it is what it is. They’re not there for your enjoyment there to make money. Unfortunately it’s all about money there is no free to play anything.

This game is definitely pay to win I played all day for 5 days straight did everything to power up made it to almost 6 million power but then I look at rankings and there is people with 15 million power
It's day 3 on our server and there's one guy at 15 million already, the next highest is 6 million, most are sitting around 2M. If you pay to win, it must be sad and unsatisfying eventually, it's a game, you play it, that's where the fun comes from.

I agree the biggest losers are the biggest spenders and the big winners are the developers, the rest of us spend a few dollars to get the really useful stuff at the beginning and just have fun. This game seems to be balanced to keep everyone happy.
