They're only considered rivals by some because of proximity, but not for titles.

Arsenal got 4 pts from two games vs City. Does Arteta/Arsenal regret not 'going for it' at the Etihad? NO! Stop asking these stupid questions. If Arsenal regrets ANYTHING this season, it should be losing twice to Villa - they should've won at least the home match but failed. Apart from the really shadt business in the background they are the most complete team in the world (thanks to Guardiola converting his CB into basically fullbacks, they don't have a problem in that area anymore). As for city's Centrebacks, they have the most depth in that position ahead of everyone. Their midfield, well, its Pep Guardiola, the last problems he's gonna have is in midfield. Their attack just added in Jeremy but it might use another natural winger, I mean I know Grealish supposedly falls into that category but for me he's like Bernardo, a CAM given wingfield responsibilities, so he lacks the expressiveness wingers are supposed to have. And of course they got two splendid Strikers up top.
So apart from maybe a lack in Natural wingers (which doesn't seem to bother Pep much) this is very complete squad

Kdb is my most favourite player after messi. But his sharpness has been declined. If he remains next season, he should change his playing style. He has lost 40% of his abilities after injuries. So changing playing style would help him sustain longer. He has great vision, so he should play like kroos, or xavi if he can improve his passing. The biggest weakness at City is the high line unlike last season, all city defenders are often very high up and any team good at counter attacking will exploit them easily. Pep is very stubborn but i hope he realizes he needs to ditch the high line next season especially when Mbappe is at Real Madrid. And also the midfield control Stones offered before was missed because he is injured all the time so please Buy Bruno at Newcastle or even Pacueta at Westham. Sell Grealish and Nunez and Stones.

In that kind of games Real players will leave their lives on the pitch.

City today is just like Max Verstappen in F1, Lando said: “whenever I finish behind Max, it feels like a win”. City is just too good man, thus no need to shame for Arsenal and Arteta, they’ve done a great job, in a different universe or era they might win the league today if its not for City.

In all seriousness, Akanji’s error today that nearly lead to Son scoring was not an anomaly. He was a fantastic transfer value purchase and he’s generally a consistent player. But he’s also the player in City’s lineup of players who is always most likely to make an untimely error. And playing him in the middle like Stones does not work against elite level competition. That’s not to say Akanji is a bad player but I’d label him as a weakness in City’s side by their standards.

if you look at how much clubs spend vs the money they get from selling players City isn't even in the top 4, they have a MUCH smaller team than other clubs like Chelsea, or Tottenham, (9 players less than Tottenham for example), they frequently sell players with a profit, except Greaklish they have never spent 100 mllion or more, look at United for god sake !, CIty is good because they have the best coach, and the club is very well managed, and actually invests in young players !!, ok i guess they spend a lot on salaries, including peps, but they do NOT spend more money on players, last time i checked, in 2022, they were tenth !!
