Thank so much for noticing. I really want this to be solely about makeup and detail. Im not interested in flouncing it up for views. I just want to unite with the people who are here for the same reasons as me. No click bait titles, No hacks, No fairy lights.
The reason I love watching you talk about makeup is because you know why you're doing stuff, and the logic behind colours and choices. It's just a nice change from seeing people do certain techniques and making certain choices because they're just "the done thing". It's really refreshing.
Love this. There's something about a red lip that just makes me feel fab. Splash of perfume and a red lip and it leaves me feeling all fancy. No matter what else is going on.

If you have a neutral skin tone the Shiseido Night Life Lipstick works like a dream! I just received it today and its the perfect red, not too orange or blue, right down the middle and so flattering.

Sam I can't tell you how great it is to see you again. my favorite red is Chanel no 99 Pirate. But it is very much a blue red, kind of a classic 1940s Old Hollywood color. I also really love the Rouge Coco flash (or whatever they're calling it now) color 'amour' but truth be told it splits the difference between a red and hot pink. It's a nice sheer approachable option for anyone who wants a blue-red lipstick that's not too intimidating, but it is also v expensive.

I suspect that the color balance may be off on this video: all the lipsticks have a pinky-orange hue. I own the MAC lipsticks, and in person, they look nothing like they appear in this video. Initially, I thought the problem may be with my computer, but it looks like someone else in the comments has experienced the same issue.
Yup. The first one was meant to be orange red and went on pink in the video

I sadly don't really like to wear reds anymore, but I wore it all the time in my early twenties when all I wanted was to look like Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy...😅 But I still do kind of think of red lipstick as the absolute epitome of makeup, though!
How about a video on some favorite lip pencils/liners? (I only use lip pencils + balm as "lipstick" these days, so I'm always interested in recommendations.) 😄

Ruby Woo all the way for me when it comes to red lippy. I think orange toned reds make your teeth look yellow but ive got a cool skintone so maybe its just me.
I was always sceptical about the Zara lipstick but am definitely trying it. As a massive red lip wearing this was super useful video . Xx

Red lipstick looks lovely on you. There's something really evocative about a red lipstick. I've never worn a red lipstick. I did try going to a make up counter ages ago and the girl tried a couple on me and said red was not for me. So I never tried again..

lip shape...don't want to draw attention to thin lips! Looking forward if slightly wary of getting lip injections

Love the reds! My favorites are from Armani, Mac, Chanel and Hermès. I wanted to love the velvets from Lisa Eldridge and I have all her reds but I don’t love the formula unfortunately.

Thank you for the video. How did you find out about your undertone? What are the criteria?
I also have a neutral undertone, going peach, but neutral. My problem now is that my teeth are not as white as they used to be, and I find any orange-based reds just do not help that situation. Blue-based reds do help, and fortunately, they are OK with my undertone, too. But I rarely wear red - maintenance too exhausting! lol
Favourite cream bronzers? They seem to be a staple for most ppl now but I just don't know how to use them!
£40 for a lipstick seems alot to me 😳 I'd have to be wearing that everyday and it be smudge/transfer proof! X
