If my memory serves me correctly it was you that sold me an L bracket when I purchased my "Mark Gray" signature edition of the Manfrotto tripod. The L bracket is a fantastic bit of kit, like you said it keeps the COG of the head of the tripod and is a lot faster to go from landscape to vertical format, particularly in ever changing light conditions. Keep up the good work mate!
Mark another wise piece of advice, love my L bracket but wish it was a bit easier to attach the Sony remote when in portrait position, any ideas, looking forward to next video. Thanks
Wayne Nanasi thanks Wayne, I must admit one of the shortcomings of the Sony is the remote release. You’re right it’s a problem with an L bracket when positioned vertically but the remote sucks anyway, Im going to be looking at other options to fire remotely soon so will let you know!
Hi Joe, an L Bracket replaces your quick release plate so should work on most industry standard tripod heads. Perhaps not for some of the cheaper models though. I would recommend watching this video to learn more about my tripod recommendations... ruclips.net/video/uHcZHfmbzIg/видео.html
Have to get one of those - soon.
You won’t regret it 😊
THANKYOU...
No worries 😊

@@MarkGrayPhoto Yeah, the Sony A7r cameras are pretty good. It would be a great replacement for my original a7

Is there way of mounting a L bracket to a non-ball head mount?
