From what I heard from Datto's vid is that they get a large damage boost but it's when it's a fixed distance away, something like 40 metres. At that range you'd maybe get like 3~ arrows with bonus damage cause as soon as he closes the gap under 40m, the damage buff doesn't apply.
@@FL4KERRR i dont think the boss room is long enough to make this too much of an increase. The damage bonus is all or nothing/ doesn't work at all if you arent 40m away
I've heard reports of the ring doing glitch damage to some bosses. Worth testing out like, if you manage to activate the ring inside of the boss I'd somehow doss some sort of DOT to some of them.
Yeah saw a damage test vid a few hours ago of a guy testing the bow on the ogre boss from Grasp of Avarice, one test glitching the ring into the boss, the other without. If the glitch is done right it dose over a million extra damage over the course of the full DPS phase. Was interesting stuff, I see it getting patched soon like.
Just got it today and definitely does even threshers I randomly half healthed one and was hit random 35k on some bosses but the damage would chunk the health bar at least 5%
It literally has better damage than outbreaks, it is a bow, it will not kill a boss with it, but if you run out of heavy ammunition it is the best weapon currently to continue doing damage, apart from the bow does more damage the farther it is from the target, if they had done the damage from behind they would have done more damage
@@fraids_97 yea nah brother if i run out of heavy my backup dps weapon would be merciless,outbreak also has the benefit of being able to use it instantly instead of needing to prep it beforehand(of using a mediocre 700+ ms draw time bow to hit crit). Outbreak beats it for ease of use and ticuu beats it for general ad clear
@@thanhhungvo2649 Outbreak is alr . but like Touch is probably straight better than it now with good blight rotations . if you're hunter , you're better off rotating lucky pants with malf and another secondary . or use seventh officer + merciless.
It's the highest DPS primary in the game if you have 40 meters... The crowd control is also fantastic. Hierarchy holds up extremely well in high end content.

Might do more damage if you setup further behind, the arrows supposedly do more damage the further the seekers travel from the ring

There's a good reason why people never use if, its basically a worse ticuus
