imo microcosm is just ok here nothing more. The reason it hit so much on the witness is because his crit spot is coded as a shield, so gets the damage bonus from Microcosm's exotic perk. I would not really use it on other bosses imo. Divinity with linears is always 2 phase on oryx.
That's a great observation! True it's going to be a niche weapon. The reason I use it is for the bonus light and dark energy, plus if you have a 1 shot super you get the imbument buff for 10 seconds. This particular video was a last minute join while I was doing something completely different. So I made sure to let the team know I'd be competitive but it wouldn't be top DPS! Thanks for the feedback! The damage numbers are posted at the end for reference on how the weapon handles a raid boss. It was not ideal damage, however the point of the video was the consistent play of the exotic after deploying your super to get the buff. And for reference I have 2 phased that boss many times it was just not the best showing as a group🤣. We did finish it though afterwards 🥵
@@androvox5089 with the recent update now to the artifact you are absolutely right if you build the team correctly!!! When I made this there was no buff to sniper damage whatsoever. I can't wait to see what the next artifact perks help as well! Thanks for the feedback!
