- Most electric car charging is done at home. Some EV owners may never even need to use a fast charger. This video provides a quick walk-through of what's involved in "fast charging" an electric car, with an EVgo station and the CCS Combo connector.

Came across your video and had a question. I have a 2015 chevy spark ev. My car connects well with the ccs charger at the evgo. The problem now is I noticed they have changed to a white handle one. I tried about 5 different evgo stations with these handles. They don’t charge and says can’t communicate with the car even if the light says it’s connected. Any tips for this? Thanks

Cost varies per location. Generally you will pay more than the gas equivalent cost at fast chargers, but if you do most charging at home, that is so much cheaper than gas, you're still ahead

Will these chargers work with Chrysler Pacifica hybrid van?
I'm not completely sure, but I think most plug in hybrid can only use the smaller J1772 connector. The process is very similar, but that connector charges shower.
Do you have to have an EVGo card or could you use a regular debit card?
I have an EVgo card but I think many stations are now adding credit/debit card readers. You can also use the app

If you have a hybrid most can’t dc fast charge. They can use level 2 the small 240 unit he showed first. We’re you are in a place for hours.
Electrify America can be used with app or credit card like ev go but ea you can sign up for a membership like Evgo and the card is kept in apple wallet on your phone so all you do is plug in and tap apple wallet on your phone select your ea card and tap it on the rfid symbol not card reader that way you don’t need to swipe on the app or use the number at top of charge r way Simpler. Some cars like Mach e and Porsche taycan you can plug in to ea and it starts charging. Without a app or card. Evgo has auto charge for the bolt and there is a video from ev go on how to use it with the bolt and you phone.
and then some kid wait till you can't see your car and come up and push the stop button while your car have no charge
just set the alert on the stop charging and you'll get a txt from the car ;)
