@@StillWanderer You like animals don't you. When you videoed the cat on top of the red car you backed away as soon as he became uncomfortable with your approach. Thanks for that!
Thank you for this beautiful tour! My husband and I have visited Alatri twice. My paternal grandfather and his maternal grandfather are both from Alatri. We feel quite a connection to this beautiful town and planned to visit again when we are able to travel to Italy, hopefully soon. While I've done some research on it's amazing history, I learned a few new things today. What a nice surprise this was! Your video has made the wait to return a little bit easier. Grazie mille!
Wonderful to read such a comment Regina! Truly glad you could enjoy the walk and see once again Alatri this way. I live not too far away and it's a dear place for me as well. I hope restrictions will be eased off soon and you'll be able to go back then. Fingers crossed, maybe sooner than we think. Wish you a nice day!
In these medieval towns some streets are even much more narrow than those like here in Alatri! Some of them are just for small 3wheeled or scooters. Parking a car in some towns is like an art :)
Perbacco che dedalo di Stradelle e stradine ! Quanta intimità’ e quante somiglianze ! Tutti i portoni si somigliano .... interessante ! Bella musica all’inizio .
What a hidden gem! Great intro music and thank you for always giving us the history of the place. Like the cat on the roof of the red car at the beginning of the video. Take care, stay healthy and safe🙂
@@StillWanderer I think you have improved alot. I always take photos of animals. Another favourite is also walking in cemeteries. In Rome we visited the Cimitero Acatolico (lots of cats there)
Thank you for the video of the wonderful city. I remember traversing Italy for a month 10 years ago. When the world calms down, I want to go on a trip.
Another excellent video. Your camera timing is just perfect. Just a suggestion: When you pass by a crossing just give us a quick view to both sides of the path. Ex If you decide to go to the right side of the street, just let us see what is in the left side as well (quick view). I think this will make your video a little bit bigger but will add a big value to the video as a whole. Just a suggestion.
Ivan good suggestion! I agree, I'll try to implement this on future videos from January on! In fact I agree it could be better to understand the area, especially in smaller alleys!
those polygonal walls are intriguing, how did the preromans build those? maybe you can do another video concentrating on the megalithic walls? beautiful city
Glad you enjoyed Alatri JMG, not the usual touristic place ... but definitely worth a visit. I will start the new "Narrated Tours" in the future, as archeoligist Erika will first narrate the Appian Way, but more will follow, maybe in Alatri again too. Stay tuned. Wish you a nice weekend!
Wow what a beautiful town rich in history. I guess the medieval years were not very welcoming to most cities. But it’s great this historical area is still around. Wonderful tour!
Smooth intro pro walk combined with pretty itallian city Alatri !! Thanks a lot dear I am also walker Subscribed you hope to stay connected 👍😍 Greetings

Buoni viaggio a tutti.
Thank you for including such things as historical facts, population, time of year, temp, etc.
