omg I never knew Cyrax is such a nice pick for Kitana. I use Sonya to get nice combos (usually around 340-360) and also so I can confirm 112 string. I'm in Grandmaster now but I believe to get above that I will need some crazy setups or something to cheese or get people off guard

I feel everything is really slow as startup. 112 is maybe a good punish but I feel like I can't punish shit with that, probably cuz its a High not Mid. Her B2 is a nice long range mid, but slow af. Also at least 1 overhead would be nice. And ppl do really high dmg combos, 1 meter for 45% and such, with Kitana I feel like you can't combo that easy comparing to Smoke or Raiden or many others
Just a quick note. The windbomb setups can actually lose to kameo wakeups like sareena or subzero, you won't get hit because their kameo will absorb the windbomb on their way out, but if you throw you'll get punished by the enemy.

@@Retrhoe I agree. I think the most it does for me is create space between me and opponent if im zoning. They risk getting blown up if I delay Cyrax's bomb. That's about it. It's tricky getting it to start a kombo or even extend one because it comes in so late.

Cyrax is probably the best kameo that fills her weaknesses, making her an all rounder. If you want an assists that enables Kitana's zoning like crazy I would suggest Sub-Zero kameo
On the 1 cameo bar unblockable set up, when cyrax does his helicopter sometimes the opponent will be launched to the other side. Is this a cameo call-in timing issue? I feel like the goro setup is more consistent, at least for me.
u can get it down consistently, however yes it’s hard u have to call cyrax during the second to last kick of the 4f333 string and then have him actually start hitting them on the last hit. u want his head to hit their feet
goro is far more consistent this cameo does better than him only if u can push the optimization. if u can’t u should just stick with goro he’s still very very very good
Im finding kinda hard to time cyrax on some parts. Do you have it figured it out already? For example: to hit confirm 112 you do 11 R1 2 or 11 R1+2 But for the wind traps I sometimes get it sometimes don’t

And it’s a HELD kameo, which makes it even harder because you can’t just tap it in a rhythm.
How come your Cyrax “follows” the opponent? I keep trying to make his helicopter move connect and it always only hits once or not at all because it doesn’t hone in on the enemy? This video inspired me to actually sit down and practice with Kitana. Could you make a more in depth guide?
Hey bro, so for Cyrax: Holding R1 (or whatever your kameo button is) makes his helicopter attack go horizontal across the screen towards the opponent. Pressing R1 will launch him into a vertical helicopter attack which only connects on the opponent if they're in the air. Hope that helps.
@@Retrhoe doesn’t have to be with Cyrax per-say, but some kombos (particularly the ones that do over 50%) I’d really like to become part of my BnBs. Put the Jump punches are always so hard to preform I can barely get a combo over 33% 😭
After the cyrax tornado and fan bomb hits, is there a specific timing or number of it hits it has to do? Like I get the j2 into b24 connecting but the db1 never hits.

@@puzzlite she’s just not a pick up and play character. u have to have an idea of what’s actually going on and for the amount of effort u put in u could in turn invest it into someone better. as well as she left a bad taste in peoples mouth from the beta. she’s a character with a shit ton of potential the question is is it worth committing to over somebody objectively better if you’re playing to win
@@puzzlite well one sub zero cameo can be extremely annoying for her to deal with, she doesn’t have a surefire way to open people up, her main strings have gaps which in a sense is fine bc it gives us a way to bait armor etc but still, she isn’t technically LACKING anything crazy i think she’s very strong. however other characters can have the same success with less effort
