- hello one hello all! welcome to my top 2023 fragrances video! i have been away visiting family and moving back to school this past week, so thank you for your patience in letting me get this video out for you!
today we have (quite literally) my biggest video of 2023. this is a round-up of all my favourite, most-worn fragrances that made a huge bang this year!

on the topic of vanilla skin: i sat next to a girl in my academic writing class this past semester who was this drop-dead gorgeous, blonde, curvy queen, who could've been the biggest bitch in the world, but laughed at every single one of my jokes and hyped me up. she smelled amazing, and one day i was just like "...girl what perfume are you wearing it's amazing" and she pulled phlur vanilla skin out of her bag and was like "oh my gosh thank you! you want some?"
i am of the opinion that vanilla is truly a hot girl note
Burberry Goddess is perfection, made me love vanilla after years of being put off by it from BBW and Pink Sugar trauma in high school LOL
I love Burberry goddess bc it’s one of the few vanilla scents that doesn’t just smell like straight up vanilla extract

just bought bianco latte , its fire 🔥and very vanillay.just a bit caramel,thought it'd be a bit more caramel,but it just smells like vanilla cupcake,its so good.
Where were you able to get your hands on it?
@@adrianaspeis where I live its a reseller specifically in my country,do a search for the perfume and then type your country,go to major resellers,but usually small to medium sized resellers are available.
Example : "Bianco Latte Australia" or Bianco Latte UK. You'll find it.
If not go to a major reseller,like scentsplit,if you buy a 150$ perfume probably there is no shipping fee. Have fun.

Angelique Noire ages SO beautifully. I have the previous version (the rectangle), and my bottle is about 3 years old now, and it is absolutely exquisite-the vanilla gets much sweeter and cozier. I think it’s actually more of a vanilla than angelica scent now.

Arizona Bloom by Floral Street is a summer staple!! I love it so much. I also love Wild Vanilla Orchid from Floral Street too!!
I feel like you should try Vanille Coco by Comptoir Sud Pacifique. It's an oldie, but is probably the creamiest thing I have in my collection. One of my favourites.
at first i wasn’t that impressed by bianco latte but now it’s soooo addicting!!
Love your explanations so much! Honestly the by Rosie Jane discovery set blew me away. Most people just know Dulce, bur Lake and Rosie were my two favorites
100% agree. Lake is honestly the perfect scent to me. Whenever I wear it I get compliments from everyone. Also the scent last so long. I sprayed it the previous day, slept showered went to worked an afternoon (I work at a hospital so no scents allowed). I got more than 15 compliments that 1 shift on my smell alone. Everyone said it wasn't strong but when I came close to them I just smelt so good.
Dylan was one of my favorite from the discovery set.

I'm really enjoying your videos, especially when you share what you have learned about perfumes in perfume school. Learning about the two notes in vanilla and how they relate to tonka helped me understand what I don't like in tonka (i.e. coumarin). Is there also coumarin in tuberose? It's another note I find suffocating.

You probably won’t see this but I recently purchased Guerlain Acqua Allegoria Mandarine Basilic EDT after smelling the sample once and you spoke about liking Atelier and it is like the feminine version of their Sanguine Orange, fresh citrus but with some white floral and I don’t love strong floral but this is so pretty. Would love to know your thoughts no one really talks about Guerlain fragrances

Great video! Try Tyler Soap Company’s Glamorous Wash in Diva scent. It’s so so good and the scent stays in my bedding and towels! I use just a capful and then use Tide Unscented pod with it. 😊

I will say, I smelled Missing Person today in stores and was not a fan! Maybe it smells differently dried down but it wasn’t very strong and was a little boring to me
I agree about Missing Person. I was very disappointed with it, and I actually think the dry down is even worst! I’m someone who has a lot of musk scents & loves musk, but Missing Person smelled awful on me. When it dries down it smelled like used socks in a stinky sweaty gym bag.

Have you tried the Nonfiction brand?? It's a Korean fragrance brand! Would like to know your thoughts on it if ur wanting to try something! I heard "Gentle Night" and "Open Arms" are good but haven't tried them 😁
Girl, about Arizona Bloom: SAME! I gradually started disliking all coconut fragrances and declutterring even small samples if they had that note in them. But this one is sooo different! I wore it a couple of days ago, it’s weird that I am craving it even during winter, it’s just so comforting.
Yes!! It's not coconutty in the traditional sense... it's just... like.. milky? And fresh? and sorta green? It is so good for real
Aah all I can smell in this is a sweet coconut and can't tolerate that note :(

Oh yes! This would be great. I always hear people say that Versace Crystal Noir is a great scent that men seem to go crazy for. But ive never tried it and would love to hear her talk about it too!

Will u Please do a video on all your best/favorite affordable scents?? Also will u do a video on all these Middle Eastern fragrances?? I bought two and was completely disappointed 🤮🤮 do not get Dalal and dont get Raghba!!!! They smell so weird!! The Dalal smells like that dog cologne the put on dogs before they leave the grooming place and then the Rahgba is just very very strange smelling...i cant even describe it!! But i hear some ARE ACTUALLY GOOD!!!

Hearing you talk about fragrance accords is so interesting! I am starting to learn about ingredients and I think my senstive nose is not into synthetic notes. I know fragrance accord probably does not = synthetic but its something I've noticed with what ive tried. I am going to have to try Arizona bloom. Lastly, thanks for keeping the fragrance note description up as you speak! It's annoying when the notes appear and then disappear w/o a chance to read.
A significant number of notes are synthetic, and even naturals are augmented with synthetic notes. But the quality of synthetics varies SO widely, Guerlain isn’t going to use the same screechy white musks you’d get in a cheap white tea scent.

Can you maybe look into why bianco latte isn’t strong anymore? I have now seen others on tiktok say the same thing. I got my bottle a month ago and it’s very weak. There’s been rumours the brand reformulated even tho they said no but I don’t get “strong” at all from it

idk why but with bianco latte, the sillage is pretty weak for me with 3 sprays on my neck. How many sprays do you do and where?
I was just about to say this. I recently got a sample and sprayed it on my wrists and neck. Not even 1 hour later and the scent was all gone but I could very faintly smell it on my shirt 🥲
yea so my original decant was super strong and my perfume full bottle from the same website doesn't last at all. so confused! @@me9756
OK so I decided to give it another try. This time I sprayed twice behind each ear and twice on my shirt for good measure. This time it lasted way longer but also became kind of cloying (?) I put it on in the morning and like 6 hours later I could still smell it (lightly ofc).
Do the brands show the notes on their websites or do you use a separate source to get the specific notes with pictures?

How does Arizona bloom smell compared to Kayali Utopia Vanilla coco? I love a good coconut jasmine solar scent (think Alien Goddess Intese, Jimmy Choo Rose Passion, JHAG Lust for Sun)

bianco latte smells like coconut and nothing else to me (and i hate it). i'm glad i bought a sample of it but i bought a bigger one than i normally would because it was so popular on tiktok and it's such a waste of money
Bianco latte is crazy.. the first smell is almost like your nose needs to adjust to a smell it’s never smelled…. So you smell Celery Juice/grandma moth balls..
Bought the entire bottle.. to say I was extremely disappointed is an understatement..
But going back a week later.. was more tolerable.. still that smell but much less.. the more you let it sit.. the more you can tolerate it!
@ginabelanger7335 are you sure you got an authentic bottle?? I don't get your description at all from mine and have never heard anyone else mention what you're smelling..... It's really simply straight up vanilla caramel, milky creamy gourmand.
Disclaimer: if you don't Don't like aggressively sweet smells and you're not sure if you'll like it, be careful with Bianco Latte. It's quite possibly my least favourite perfume I've tried. When you test it, test it on a paper swatch. It stays in your hair, it sticks to your bedding, it sticks to your clothes. I made the mistake of testing it on my skin and it survived a shower.

Vanilla fragrances usually remind me of strippers and cheap body sprays from like Victoria's Secret and Bath and Body Works. Such a hard pass for me BUT I am a fragrance addict so I will try anything. Vanilla fragrances, for me, have to be complex. Like Dior Addict. So divine!

I love that you use men’s fragrances, I love some unisex/masc leaning fragrances and I don’t see enough woman talking about those types of scents🫶🏼
