- Bandai Namco released the patch notes today for Version 1.04 where Feng got some nerfs. I still think he is pretty strong and I'm really optimistic/positive about the patch overall and the future of the game!

How strong is Feng? Yes.
As a fellow Feng main, these changes are understandable. I’m glad they didn’t listen to the majority of the community and completely obliterate him. He’s a very cool character
He was cool in tekken 7, in 8 he’s too godly

@@deanbrooks7297did you even play tekken 7 beyond season 1? His optimal combos could be done blind folded and he was top 1 excluding 2d’s by the end. You’re just one of those “old = better” cornballs. Now his combos require some more work and his pokes were toned down a bit. He did not make more sense in 7 and he is not better than t7 despite still being one of the top5
I can appreciate you maining Feng, but being understanding towards what is overtuned 🙏
I certainly wish more players were like this in the community.

I like that they kept him strong. Strong characters can exist. The fc df+1,4 shit had to be dealt with tho. Shit would piss me off fighting him 😭😭😭
The party is just to normalize it with the other characters. Cuz everyone else had it 5-9 frame

Played feng all tekken 7 . Never used wr 1+2 intentionally also never knew it was a perry 😂. What a nerf .. I am gutted 😂😂Lol
They didn't truly nerf the punch parries, they just aligned them with the standard 5f for all characters punch parries. I agree with you he is still strong AF, they barely touched him IMO :) Well he is top tier but at least he requires some skill and smart gameplay to be played effectively, I don't mind him staying strong even if I don't play him.
The Feng changes were just Bug fixes aside from the last one..
The weird one is the Parry as no one does Parry much.. Id see a Jin or Asuka Parry more often than a Feng Parry, heck Dragunov Parry occurs more often in tournaments too..
How is combo dmg nerf, sabaki frame window nerf, and heat stomp range and plus frames nerf considered bug fixes lol
Let's be real, most people would rather have Feng as a top tier than Drag or Azu. Dealing with Drag db3+4 and Azu wr3,2 was obnoxious. They probably should've kept Drag wr2 +6 on blue spark version, but it might be nice being able to sidestep things now

I have no horse in this race with him personally but I feel like he didn’t need to be nerfed, I had no trouble beating him. Its also insane that they are buffing Brian who should be getting major nerfs.
Your insane if you think bryan should be nerfed rather than feng. He has the worst heat in the game and relies on ch when every character has 3 powercrushes and plus on block moves.
Also feng is at least top 3. Likely getting nerfed the patch after this as well.
Brian is good but he has flaws. Feng virtually has none even past these nerfs. Just cuz you beat some Feng doesn't mean he doesn't need to be nerfed. You don't know the game clearly.

Feng is clearly too strong and has to be taken down a notch. Bryan is trying to play the CH and neutral game while everyone goes unga.

@@rookeyji5177I felt like Bryan was fine. I honestly have the same winrate with him as Feng lol I swear to god. I’m not saying he’s really strong but I felt like he’s the ideal state for a character imo. Nerf people down to him.
Harada's character so nothing real bad happened to Feng of course.
They "nerfed" moves no Feng players use so their players can say "see he's been nerfed akshually!"
When the reality is that the changes are totally irrelevant.
Meanwhile Jun is dead.
Azucena is dead.
Lili is killed next patch etc.
And now the problematic characters are going to be Asuka and Zafina.
They just don't learn, ever.

Do you guys want the character to be nerfed for nerf sake, or do you want the nerfs to actually make sense?
What realistic changes should be made to feng? The main one i see is his FC DF4 staggering on block tbh, but then it would need to do a bit more damage to justify risking getting launched 🤷♂🤷♂
@@tekkn_579 I'm a Feng main buddy his UF2 shouldn't be safe on block. One of the best panic moves in the game.
@@animescenesjpn That move is not as good now as it was in T7 to me for some reason. It’s -10 on block btw.
It's a minor nerf for Feng at least. Azucena and Jun really got crippled in comparison
