Hi Fulton, I totally agree with your take on this paper. The details in each are striking. It was great watching you create each and as usual, the last mono print is the best. Thank you for experimenting and showing how to remedy little errors as we do our art. May you have a lovely weekend Fulton. Blessings.❤️🙏🏻❤️
Thanks for showing us this paper - it's good for some things, maybe not for others? I have to admit, I really miss the *snap* of a nice, heavy piece of paper when you show us the pull.
to be honest I have a problem calling it "paper", it is really microfiber, more of a fabric than a paper. I'll bet it stitches together nicely to make a quilt!
@@artwhisperer88there are people Eco printing on it and then making things like Pencil cases or bags etc with it. Very versatile. Thank you for your experiments with it, very enjoyable to watch. ❤
💥 BEAUTIFUL ‼️ I like them all. - The single pull really worked well though. I’ll be purchasing this paper for sure. - It should be good for many things/hobbies ect. ▫️ THANKYOU brother.
Hello Fulton. Another calming video from you, as I have breakfast. (Late breakfasts, oh the joy of being retired). This was an interesting demonstration. My wife Anne, looked Evolon up online. In A4 sheet size, it's available in: 58 Gsm, 98 Gsm 168 Gsm. And of course, in rolls 80 inches x 1 mile in size! 🙂 I wonder what the 168 Gsm., would perform like when monoprinted on? Is it possible that the multiple layers became diffused with each subsequent layer? I don't think I shall try it, unless some kind person gives me some. Nonetheless, I did enjoyed the demo, as always, thank you. Right, back to my Gelli plate. It's all go!
Thanks! I always love watching your process 👍. I want to add that starting a print with dark paint, tones the light layers down. Golden acrylics have more pigment, they might show better when used on dark hues.
My issue is with the excessive absorbency of the microfiber, not the performance of the paint. Had I done the same procedure on real paper the outcome would be different.
I liked the fabric like qualities of the paper, quite excited to see a new paper, seems like it would suit a lot of printing techniques and maybe work with oil based monoprints and oil based block prints. I'm definitely going to have to source some and try it out. Your resulting prints were great. ❤ satisfying scissor crunch on the last one, could have cut a mount board to clean up the edge and give the print breathing space that way. Though cutting mounting boards is whole other ball game. 😅
@@artwhisperer88😊 i’m okay thank you mate I’ve been helping Mum with stuff we are trying to move house so we have been moving stuff around the house 😊 hope you’re okay
This was very interesting. Thank you I would like to try this paper w black and white photos, then paint on top.

This paper looks like fun to play with ... 😊
I am a mixed media artist and will stitch into this microfiber paper happy days 😂
Interested in the one you like best is the way you didn’t add collage elements to
I agree!
This would be great for Encaustic prints too. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for this review! Can you share what your favorite paper is and why?
I like Somerset paper, it is very high quality, although it costs more and I can't use it for experimental stuff.

9:28 also, depth has been created? So interesting!
That is cool, I may have to buy some to try single mono prints with. Love the detail it produces. Great fix with smudged paint around the edge.
🙏❤️
Cool, I tried Yupo paper for oil painting but never on the gel plate. I'll give it a shot tomorrow
Love the results, what tool are you using for mark making.
I like using a color shaper, it is a silicone spatula shaped like a brush. You can use old kitchen rubber utensils as well.
Interesting.
Interesting results… like the way it stuck to the cold press😂
I'm not sure that I've seen that teeny tiny brayer. Adorable! ❤

I suspect the thicker version would behave more like a paper, but it would still be super absorbent

How long time did this paper/fabric take to dry?
under a fan about 10 to 15 minutes

I'll leave the manner of mounting to the buyer!
this material sounds like lutrador, also nonwoven synthetic material.
Lutradur, polyester material used in sewing and crafts. Luchador, Mexican wrestlers ( see Jack Black in Nacho Libre) Sorry couldn't help myself 😎
@@artwhisperer88lol😂
what kind of braver are you using to make marks
dirty brayers, dried paint creates a grain
@@artwhisperer88 thank you
New concept 😊
Can’t find where to buy this paper. Veronica

@@artwhisperer88 wow thank you so much 😊 m8
I would’ve tried a fabric pen to remove that stain
sorry that won't work. I do stain removal professionally, so I know a thing or two about stains.
This paper is certainly a different beast.
