The track of the battle is truly a bop! And then it has Sweetheart singing in the background which then starts to creepily distort. It's so well done and is an accurate reflection of Captain Spaceboy's feelings. I love this game 💜
I just realised something (haha funni) : Space Ex-Husband expressions while in any emotion (angry, sad, happy) has some resemblance to Omori's expressions depending on the emotion. This could be a foreshadowing that Capt. Spaceboy may be a representation of Sunny in the dream world (without mentioning Omori of course)
I do find it fitting that for a person failing to repress memories, the first boss (and his relationship with Sweetheart) is basically the backstory of that incident, so when that is sort of overcome, all the creepy and realistic stuff like the Last Resort and Humphrey come out to vaguely test Sunny if he is ready for other stuff before confronting the truth. It is like Sunny is vaguely healing himself, or trying to heal himself, by a very random world by really random symbols mashed together with coping mechanisms.

do the hikkikomori route and reach one day left, get some batteries, go to the only snowy place you can think of, do stuff in there until you eventually find a way to progress, and then you can fight space ex-husband
