I have been to this place and seen this transportation which is phenomenal. Connecting 2 cities .. Dharwad - A city of History And Hubbali(Hubli) - A city of development ... So it a city where history meets development.
I am a resident of Bhopal ,I myself have travelled with BRTS for 2 years. I can tell you with surety that BRTS is very helpful here 1.For students - Most popular commute ,blessing for students There are large no of students preparing for competitve exams , they have a bus pass which is Mahapaur bus pass, thanks to local govt which is providing monthly bus pass at 400Rs to students. 2. Safe ride for Womens with front seats reserved for them 3.Comfortable ride for elderly people and handicapped people, special seats reserved for them. 80% buses of the city BRTS follow proper norms of overloading , Just want to clear , Only 5-10% people ,buy tickets before entering into bus at Brts bus stand , In 2019, after the congress govt came in power , some people(very less) demanded that brts should be removed, the govt ordered a enquiry and a team of delhi arrived and inspected BRTS in bhopal, The team declared in its result that BRTS Delhi case (where BRTS was removed )is different from bhopal , there is NO NEED to remove BRTS in bhopal, if there is problem like traffic in some areas of Old Bhopal ,then the local police and govt should interfere in removing illegal encroachments ,only problem is illegal encroachments ,if that will be removed then traffic problem in some areas(nearly 5%) will also get solved. So BRTS BHOPAL is well functioning, Thanks to local govt they have promoted it a lot , Its now a normal transport for everyone, Hence, Its a good idea for fast transport in a city . Thank You!!! Transportation is excellent in Karnataka. One of the best in India. In all the area may be in big city like tumkur rani bennur hasan bellur shravanbelgola shimoga or remote hornadu, shringeri. I like the development garden near dam tb, almatty or KRISHNARAJ sagar, other states should learn from them. Also cleanliness. Theses things makes it great outstanding tourists destination. So work to Nation is work for God. Is seen.

It is one of the best BRTS but NOT INDIA'S NUMBER ONE BRTS as shown in video title, India's Number One BRTS is Ahmedabad BRTS (locally known as Janmarg), Hubballi-Dharwad was began in Oct. 2018, with system length of 22 KM, 70 buses & 33 stations, whereas Ahmedabad BRTS was began in Oct. 2009, with system length of 125 KM, 250 buses & 150 stations.
I am from ahmedabad but staying in mangalore city from birth I have gone to kerala chennai also...... busses are too good than gujarat busses......drivers and condustors are like friends where as in ahmedabad very rude behaviour Karnataka's both govt and private busses are lot better than gujarat

Karnataka bus transportation is way better than Maharashtra.Its cheaper ,buses are well maintained, frequency is quite good.Be it state transport or city transport.

There are 2 critical observations for this particular system based on other comments below:- Please Note: Would Personally encourage modern infrastructure growth and won't discourage new public transport system in the interest of the common public who use that service even as we see minor issues!! QUALITY OF LIFE FOR COMMUTERS INSIDE EXCLUSIVE BRTS-ONLY ROAD:- Agreed there are minor shortcomings with respect to traffic lights,lane markings, pedestrian crosswalks, cycle-lanes, environmental impact etc and of course need to be fixed for enhanced user experience..... But Hey,look at the quality of buses guys and the overall daily commuter experience who consume the BRTS service..... They couldn't have asked for more for a tier-2 city of 1 million people...... Network need to be expanded further with increased patronage..... Awesome AC Volvo Service for citizens of twin cities!!...... (We might as well need metro service like Bangalore once Hubli-Dharwad population reaches 3+ million which might be 25 years from now !!!) QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ROAD USERS OUTSIDE THE BRTS LANE: - As a person who use personal/private vehicle(car) for intercity commute, because of the non-availability of additional road lanes from the existing 2 lane road, it affects the "speed of our commute" between twin cities due to parking on either side of the carriageway and heavy traffic on the MIXED-USE lane....... Our worry is also about the environmental impact...Hope re-planting of trees is taken up and trees are take care of....... Wonder why adequate land wasn't acquired considering the future traffic congestion....... Finally last reason is the issue with Narrow-minded, Non-progressive religious structure owners and selfish,greedy businessmen holding up their land(for better compensation) all added to commuters suffering....... Humble request to city administration is to provide adequate parking to local business owners and ban road-side parking specifically on this road!!....... CONCLUSION: Thankfully, I am in my final year of engineering at BVB and will be moving to greener pastures for better opportunities(USA for MS)........ Will forever be grateful to Hubli-Dharwad for giving me best education in my life!!...... Even more grateful that we now have a Indian Passport office and Bigger,Better Airport to fly out of the country to settle in foreign lands!!!...... Cheers!!!

I think Bangalore has sufficient transport. I had been to many cities. But I say hatsoff to BMTC the way they have network. Instead of such service expansion of metro is better cz we can reach destination much faster and is safe too compared to this and this will cost a lot and need more space which is tricky to get this done in Bangalore. This will cause more traffic jams.
Day by day Hubli city also getting crowded and still Corporation or govt is giving permission to construct building without or less parking space. In future this will become major concern to develop city infrastructure . That time it will again create problem to demolish such big buildings as owners will definately protest. It's not the case of this city. Every city has lack of planning. Some powerful people construct buildings against rules and to save their investment they protest govt plan which will impact whole city. If you closely watch quality of work , the way system operates is not that good due to which Hubli is developing at very slow pace. Hope the govt and corporation will adopt new technologies and change the way of thinking to make this city more beautiful. Investment and money is not required just way of thinking must be changed I bet if it happens we can set this city as an example for the whole country.

It's truly a great city service for a twin city of 1 million people... Unlike Bangalore which is a place of 12 million people...Bangalore needs Large networks of Metro, Monorail,HSR and another Airport!!

I came to Bangalore from Mumbai. Mumbai is chaotic but it have better connectivity compared to Bangalore. One problem I noticed is that BMTC buses run same roads on which other vehicles also runs and buses usually get stuck in traffic. It will be great if BMTC also implements BRTS like Ahmedabad or Chandigarh. Metro lines will bring changes but those changes will not be that impactful.

same as Rajkot,Ahmedabad and surat(Gujarat), Overall good project still needs more space and more frequent buses.This project itself shows that how Hubli is close to Ahmedabad's roads. Haha thats BJP. A big thank to Pralhad Joshiji,I know he is a very good man.

I think Bangalore has sufficient transport. I had been to many cities. But I say hatsoff to BMTC the way they have network.
Instead of such service expansion of metro is better cz we can reach destination much faster and is safe too compared to this and this will cost a lot and need more space which is tricky to get this done in Bangalore. This will cause more traffic jams.
No already bengaluru has BMTC and Metro which are more than sufficient
Again bringing this one into the system will make it worse because of traffic

Day by day Hubli city also getting crowded and still Corporation or govt is giving permission to construct building without or less parking space. In future this will become major concern to develop city infrastructure . That time it will again create problem to demolish such big buildings as owners will definately protest. It's not the case of this city. Every city has lack of planning.
Some powerful people construct buildings against rules and to save their investment they protest govt plan which will impact whole city.
If you closely watch quality of work , the way system operates is not that good due to which Hubli is developing at very slow pace.
Hope the govt and corporation will adopt new technologies and change the way of thinking to make this city more beautiful.
Investment and money is not required just way of thinking must be changed I bet if it happens we can set this city as an example for the whole country.

I came to Bangalore from Mumbai. Mumbai is chaotic but it have better connectivity compared to Bangalore. One problem I noticed is that BMTC buses run same roads on which other vehicles also runs and buses usually get stuck in traffic. It will be great if BMTC also implements BRTS like Ahmedabad or Chandigarh. Metro lines will bring changes but those changes will not be that impactful.
