@@BenCollinsDrives hopefully not. This lithium madness will eventually come to the logical ending. They don’t make electrical container cargo ships, airplanes and DC powered trains for a lot of reasons. The power of steam was less efficient than diesel, but hypothetical DC powered lithium trains are worse by any means than diesel locomotives. Thus, steam engines had to go, but we can’t let go diesel and petrol engines because we DON’T have a better technology yet.

I love the gated gears and the fact that you could drive it at speed in those conditions suggest it is going to be a true useable car. It's a time of big change in the car world. Whether it's batteries + motors, Toyota's hydrogen ICE through to synthetic fuels in increasingly efficient engines it's all moving so fast. I wonder where we'll be in 5-10 years. Whether it's the instant torque and bonkers 0-60 of a Tesla Plaid or the sound of a V6 Nobel giving it large what makes this all the better is the sheer quality of the content that you and a handful of others are putting out. Thanks Benstig, good man.

the V6 is for emissions/cost reasons: 4 cylinders inline (like V8) gets uneven exhaust backpressure from normal turbos, so in high power engines you can't meet emissions. you basically need a twin scroll turbo for a twin turbo v8. inline 3 banks like in a v6 can flow right with simple turbo
