Beeeeeeeeautiful! I now can't watch David Tennant without thinking of jellied eels. (Laverlee jellid ils!) Whether you like him or not, he certainly has proved to be the most eccentric doctor of them all. And the most extreme. He can be light hearted and jovial one minute, and then dark and brooding the next. He's bi-polar! And that's something I can DEFINITELY relate to.
David Tennant was great because 1) Sarah-Jane Smith and K9 came back 2) The Cybermen, the Master, Davros and the Sontarans came back 3)He had great pair of suits and trainers 4)His common companions were Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Donna Noble 5) Each series had a hidden storyline such as Series 1 was about Bad Wolf, Series 2 was about the Battle of Canary Wharf, Series 3 was about the return of the Master, Series 4 was about the return of Davros and the specials was about the Time Lords coming back and the Tenth Doctor's death and 6) He was a mixture of Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Paul Mc Gann and Chris Eccleston. Even though I am not a fan of the modern Doctor Who, I grew up watching him and Chris Eccleston.
Ok so his doctor is basically good because of other companions, his clothing and because he is a mixture of other doctors? xD And where, honestly, where could you see Colin Baker in him?
Oh i really miss how funny David Tennant was during Series 2. Was just hilarious! Series 3 has been so serious.... Bring Back the fun!!!! Great choice of silly song... He he he... Thanks for reminding me of some great scenes.

I feel the Doctor Who series gets better with age like a fine wine. They can draw from the very best of the 10 (now 11) doctors and all future incarnations and make the mythology relevant no matter the century. I'm new to the show (fan of 2 years) and It's great to delve into the best of the ENTIRE series. David Tennent will be missed indeed!

I wonder how the BBC are going to celebrate Dr Who's Golden anniversary - only two years away. To think what has been achieved since the show's 40th anniversary.... Perhaps there could be another multi-Doctor special? A live episode? Whatever happens, there is going to be a celebration....!
@TerryXGaara I actually didn't in the end. The fact that he said "I don't want to go" made me feel that the writers betrayed his personality and character for the fans. I was so disconnected when he said that. But when he started to regenerate I was overly excited. It was my first regeneration ever... I was insanely excited. :P
You are right on the title of Journey's End, however! David Tennant has been reported to appear in the 3 specials that will be shown next year. When season 4 comes to a close, we will only have these until season 5 begins in 2010. David Tennant is playing Hamlet this summer, so his schedule isnt as open to film for Series 5 to be shown in 2009.
