      You can order some of these snacks online like on Amazon or there are some sites that do subscriptions Japan snack boxes.

    this guy is a idol literaly someone from japan recording on english like this guy speaks english better than some americans this guy gave me the idea to start recording on english cause if someone from japan can learn english anyone can.

      In my experience, most people that say 'sorry for my grammar, English is not my first language' have better grammar that a lot of native English speakers because they are actually putting thought into their grammar.

      @@Viuviuviudda Yep! And then there are native English speakers who call other people dumb when they themselves are being ignorant, then type out things with such bad capitalization and grammar that it literally gives you a headache.

    I remember! The mushroom and bamboo snacks had an entire Splatfest dedicated to them in Splatoon! But only in Japanese Splatoon, of course. I also love Ramune! Even if I always need my boyfriend to open it for me...

    Honestly, snacks from Japan are amazing. I was lucky to sample some at a convention. If there was some kind of loot box with Japanese snacks, I'd totally get one. Even the packaging is awesome; so fun and interactive. ❤

    they sell ramune here in oklahoma, and i love it so much. i have to go to the mall to buy them though. its a lot more sweet i feel like than regular soda. so thank you japan for making this delicious drink that i hold dear to my hear, because you bring me and my friends closer together :D

    I had a 2 hour layover in Tokyo in 2019. The airline/airport had hard candies in a bowl. People were taking one or two. I grabbed a whole handful. Hahaha. I'm greedy. 48 years old and I still love my candy. I assumed they were made in Japan, they were good.

    The first time I had ramune, I poured it into another cup and drank it out of that because for some reason I thought the marble would come loose and I'd choke on it.

    I’ve actually tried Ramune and I really really liked the blueberry flavor it cuz in North Carolina I forgot were it was at but it was a Asian market and other snacks like konpeito

    The candy whistle one...we also had those in the Philippines back in the 90s but a different brand. Sadly its no longer available here ☹️

    I appreciate that with snacks in Japan when they flavor something like fruit they actually take pride in what they do and actually make it taste like the fruit. In America it’s more so like “Well… we think it vaguely tastes like this fruit so we’ll just say that is what the flavor is.

    I get a box of Japanese snacks every month and I LOVE umaibo. Every time me and my friend open the box she always spots the umaibo(if it's in there) and says well I know what you'll enjoy

    7:07 Had the pleasure of finding that at Walmart both original and strawberry flavored(prefer original) really hard to open but fun and alittle scarey when you do it for the very first time , taste reminds me of a dash of sweet lemonade or a very light 7up , recommend trying it

    There is an anime about dagashi shop called Dagashi Kashi there are two seasons every episode is usually about one type of candy or drink.

    7:06 I live in the England and there's a shop called Wing yip it sells Chinese and Japanese items . When me and my sister went to Wing yip and me and my sister love lychee so we got the lychee flavoured ramune

    I've bought Ramune drinks to use as awards for my classroom, and the kids go absolutely crazy over the little glass ball. I think some of them still have the bottle in their rooms somewhere these years later! LOL As for me, I love the flavor of the original - it tastes like bubblegum flavored Sprite.

    Japan candies are so fun to eat, they have a lot of different shapes and colors... I never had village bamboo before, only mountain mushrooms so I vote for the mushrooms I'm glad they won the war

    I’ve always wanted to visit Japan even as a kid. (I had even planned to go to a college in Japan, but as I grew up I learned out country tuition was a thing I had changed my mind). This video made me just want to visit at some point so much more. I’ve always want to visit the Sanrio theme park (anything Sanrio is so expensive over here, and wonder if it is there too) and USJ and many of the popular cities, and now I have to add cool treat shops like the one you mentioned to my list!
