This is reeelly cool. I definitely agree with someone's comment earlier...Kayagum's sound can be quite powerful. Obviously the modern Kaygum also does wonders too for the addition in richness to tonality and texture. I am not sure who this performer is but I'll definitely make an effort get a copy of her stuff. Lately when I've looked for Kaygum music here in the US you only find very limited stuff. Thank you to whever posted. Very cool!! A bientôt!
Words below: Here is love, vast as the ocean, Loving kindness as the flood, When the Prince of Life, our Ransom, Shed for us His precious blood. Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He will never be forgotten, Throughout Heaven’s eternal days.
Verse 2 On the mount of crucifixion, Fountains opened deep and wide; Through the floodgates of God’s mercy, Flowed a vast and gracious tide. Grace and love, like mighty rivers, Poured incessant from above, And Heaven’s peace and perfect justice, Kissed a guilty world in love.
well Kayagum is not so far away from American Culture, cus we still teach it here at UCLA! however, the Kayagum has changed, nay transformed from its older roots into something completely changed and whose older, Korean or Japanese? thought so.
this is totally lame. emotionless. sanitized. and totally not representative of the great tradition of kayagum played in korea. this person should be embarrassed.

"Here Is Love Vast As the Ocean" is one of the greatest hymns of all time!
Words below:
Here is love, vast as the ocean,
Loving kindness as the flood,
When the Prince of Life, our Ransom,
Shed for us His precious blood.
Who His love will not remember?
Who can cease to sing His praise?
He will never be forgotten,
Throughout Heaven’s eternal days.
very calmly beautiful. thank you
Verse 2
On the mount of crucifixion,
Fountains opened deep and wide;
Through the floodgates of God’s mercy,
Flowed a vast and gracious tide.
Grace and love, like mighty rivers,
Poured incessant from above,
And Heaven’s peace and perfect justice,
Kissed a guilty world in love.
Beautiful... Thank you.
The cello was amazing too!
Yes, she is. As you know, her younger sister, Ha-neui(Honey) Lee, is also a wonderfully talented Kayakum player.
Beautiful beyond description

Is she the older sister of Honey Lee, Miss Universe 2007 4th runner-up???
