JFK is an exciting yet difficult airport to spot at because of the numerous runways and the different directions the planes will come and go. The Atlas 747 coming in with the skyline in the background was classic. Loved the Singapore A380 close up approach too.
+Carlos_ Destroyertv We were supposed to film SJU in January but after careful consideration of the filming locations we didn't think we could make a good program so we will have to wait until such time as the locations are good enough to come there unfortunately...
348frank348 Well they use to use the a340-500 to newark which was a 17 hour flight or something then they retired all the a340's. Just didn't know they renewed flying to New York with the a380 thats all.
How can you even get so close to filming take offs and landings? Do you have some form of permission, because I personally work at JFK and know security is tight.

Excellent video. In my opinion the best moment in 3: 17 sec A380 Singapore Airlines. Just a revelation.
+Andrzej M. I thought singapore airlines stopped flying to new york though?
Singapore flies to JFK. Maybe they stopped Newark.
+Christian Nielsen is this due to an air crash or something?

The Emirates A380 is so quiet.
Especially in the cabin. Even at full-throttle, you can barely hear a thing.

BLXDK Of course. Apologies if my comment seemed ambiguous.
Nur Hussein Haha it's okey (:

787 counts as heavy?
+Wes T94 The term "Heavy" is used for aircraft with a MTOW over 300,000 lbs. The 787-8 is around 500,000 lbs.
+JustPlanes aha
+JustPlanes Can an Airbus A350-900 XWB be considered a "Heavy" Aircraft as well?
+Christopher Hall I believe the A359 is around 600,000 lbs
+Christopher Hall Absolutely.
