Miss Dior Cherie (2011) was my signature and only fragrance for years. I didn’t wear perfume much for most of my 20s and 30s - I was in a career in which fragrance was a bit taboo. So when I went to finally replace that perfume after running out, I learned it had been long discontinued and have started my hunt for something new. Now I’m turning into a “fragrance head.”
Hi there. Thanks for sharing… I love that not finding your signature and looking for a replacement turned you into a fraghead along the way. I finished a bottle of the 2011 version of Miss Dior Chérie just last year. It was a great scent. None of the current Miss Dior flankers come close to it in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!
@@lukeparfums agreed! None of the flankers quite do it. Some of the Burberry line come closer to the ballpark, but not quite close enough. The hunt continues and I’ve really enjoyed discovering new (to me) fragrances along the way!

@@lukeparfumsDont get me wrong I own my share of backup for backup bottles😂 but i love what i own. I barely own perfumes i dislike (less then 5 maybe). What i meant was i rather watch the content of someone who loves their collection and is passionate about it than an overconsumer who ends up decluttering 2 weeks after their last haul. Love to see more💖
I know exactly what you mean about overconsuming and decluttering. I’ve got backups too. I forgot to mention in the video but I even have a backup of J’Adore L’Or because I found it for 60€ when I was travelling in France. It normally retails for over 140… There will be more to come.🙂

I'm binge watching your videos and really enjoying them; so relaxing. You have a lovely collection and seeing this has brought back lots of fragrance memories. I'm a big fan of DH Intense & Parfum; they're so good compared to Dior's recent releases

@@nancymarkiewicz8123 Hi there. The flankers can be confusing because there’s so many of them! *J’Adore L’Or* is nothing like the original J’Adore. It’s an opulent ambery white floral. I have tried *J’Adore Infinissime* and that one is a bit more generic. It’s a sweet tuberose scent like Givenchy L’Interdit. Nice, likeable, modern. It’s not similar to the original J’Adore.
Hi, there are lots of scents that are similar in style but none are exactly the same. I sampled Féminité du Bois from Serge Lutens and it’s very very similar, on my wishlist. Others that I know of but haven’t tried: Ungaro Desnuda, Givenchy Organza Indecence (discontinued). Thanks for watching!

I’ve heard great things about the Eden one but I have not smelt it myself.

Amazing!!! I love Dior so much and have some perfumes in my collection, I prefer legendary perfumes that made history;)🙊
