For English viewers searching for an opinion - in my own and somewhat humble one this combo is the closest you'll get to analogue results using digital media, both good and bad. The lens is undeniably soft and digital is a sharp media; if you judge the result only when you print out your image and hang in on the wall you'll completely understand why I love this combo. If looking at analogue photos gives you pleasure then this combo may well be for you too - sometimes it can be hard to see past modern day sharpness. I often combine this 35mm with Fuji's XF16-55 when I travel, digital and analogue in one bag as there's a time and a place for each look in my photography. Of course the XP3+Voigtlander 35mm combo looks gorgeous and the tactile experience is truly addictive; everything oozes quality. This is as you'd expect for the money paid, but it's money both justified and well spent in my opinion. The new electronic contacts now make shooting manual a complete pleasure - the two components gain a synergy as if they were designed for each other. I really do hope that Voigtlander will continue to release different versions of this and other focal lengths for the X mount as for me it's a winning formula. I'm sure the guys at Fuji HQ will have this lens to hand too; it's a passion thing, just like the XP3...
Hurrah to you good sir! Excellent spiel of actual worth here - To give Fujifilm some credit there is a reason why they charge $100+USD/150pound/$250AUD for the genuine M-mount adapter - I agree with your perspective - Fuji glass' is so good - but, since personally delving and falling into B&W - ACROS and Monochrome - I desire a certain lens character over end-game optical ability...Give me bokeh-ball nonsense and splintered stars directly into light over actual clinical rendition...

I like this review. Although I don't understand, but you put all samples that explain a lot. Good video. Subscribed!
Thank you for your comment.
Kon’nichiwa. Some very beautiful pictures. If you are willing, I am interested to see some black and white photos as well. Thank you.
Thank you very much , I will try black and white photography.
If someone could do English subtitles that would be great - I'd love to understand - I have this combo too.
Second this. Giving me yet another reason to learn Japanese.
X3
just use the auto-translate feature... it's mainly photos anyway.
Does this lens have breathing? Will it zoom in and out while focusing?
Thank you for your comment. This is a single focus lens. There is no breathing。
@@rkanemoto I can't imagine it to have no breathing at all. Please check online what focus breathing is. It is especially important for video
@@INSTINCT777 I see, from out of forcus to in focus, there is focus breathing, out of forcus image is wider than in forcus image.
Is this an answer?
@@rkanemoto yes already helpful. Is it very much and obvious or is it just a little?
@@INSTINCT777 If you shoot scenery, a little.
